It's an uncomfortably hot night out, and inside the club, it's pretty warm too with the people dancing and the music thumping. Jaime's already there, leaning up against the bar with a bottle of beer in one hand, taking a swig from it. He's foregone the usual work boots for a pair of black Docs and some nicer jeans, a dark blue t-shirt stretched over his chest. He seems to be chatting with one of the bartenders, likely knowing her, a local, making idle small talk between rounds that she pours for those nearby.

Due to the heat a lot of people probably are wearing less clothing, or thinner clothing. Ico for one has opted for a short-sleeved buttoned down shirt, leaving the top three open. While it isn't a super bright color, it still has some. With it's dark green color and white scribbles going down one side. Which light up some if on a dark dance floor. With his dark black jeans making a stark contrast, but somehow still a bit fitting together. Once inside moving to get himself a beer as well. "Hey, been waiting long?" Is asked of Jaime, once he spots him.

"Nah, not that long," Jaime says when Ico shows up, giving him a nod in greeting. "Long enough to grab myself a beer and a spot to take in the crowd, but that's about it." It's true enough, only a few sips are gone from the bottle in his hand, so it's not likely he's been there for very long. "So," he asks, "What's new? How's the band?"

Ico nods and smiles. Taking out his phone. "Good. Well then, cheers." Holding his beer to Jaime's. Then writing something on the phone before putting it away. "Just told Sparrow where we are." Then letting the conversation shift. "Oh, well. The band is doing well, I think. Still working stuff out. Not much new other than that. You?"

Jaime lifts his beer and clinks bottles with Ico before taking a swig from the bottle. He glances over toward him as he sends off the message, nodding at the explanation, "Sounds good," he says when Ico mentions telling Sparrow where they are. "Same," Jaime says in regard to the band with a bit of a chuckle. "Mostly, I've been practicing singing so that if I end up having to do it, we don't sound god awful." He grins though, seeming unconcerned about that, really, in the long run. "So what do you do, when you're not writing, drumming, dancing, all that?"

Ico takes a swig of his own. Listening and smiling. "Sounds smart." As for himself, he shrugs. "I'm a host at Platinum Cabaret." He explains easily enough. Leaning against the bar some. "It's a fun and interesting place."

"Oh, the new strip club," Jaime says, nodding when Ico mentions it. "Haven't been there. You like it?" He listens as he leans against the bar, letting his gaze drift out to the dance floor to watch some of the people dancing idly as they converse. His phone buzzes in his pocket and he glances at it briefly, but then tucks it back away in his pocket without replying to whatever the message was.

Ico nods and smiles, "Nice people, interesting jobs. And I have friends there. Bandmembers." Adding the last with a smile. Following Jaime's gaze, but letting it be.

Jaime nods his head to that and says, "Cool. Sounds like a good place to work, then." He takes another swig from his beer.

Ico nods, drinking some as well. "Yup. So, want to find somewhere to sit for a bit before perhaps dancing?" He asks curiously. Sipping as he lean an arm on the bar.

"Sure," Jaime says as he pulls away from the bar, heading out across the dance floor to find someplace to sit. Most of the room is taken up by the open space, but he does find a corner with a couple of seats with a view of the floor, and settles there, waiting for Ico to join him. "So," he says once they've claimed their seats, "Tell me something about you that I should know."

Ico moves to follow. Dancing along as they head for the corner. Settling down opposite Jaime. "Should you know stuff?" He asks and grins. "Well, puzzles are fun, and I'm a college graduate." He suggests. "Your turn."

"I don't know, should I?" Jaime asks in retort, one brow arching and an amused smile touching his lips. Though it seems that Ico answers the question anyway. He nods to that and says, "I'm not a college graduate, and I've never been much good at puzzles," with a grin as he lifts his beer to his lips and takes a swig.

Ico chuckles and nods. "Fair. Someone that you are good with, or enjoy?" They did this before as well, but still. "And don't use what you said last time."

"Someone that I'm good with?" Jaime asks, not entirely sure what Ico is asking, but when he says not to use what he said the last time, he tries to remember what he said last time. "Weren't we talking about hobbies last time?" He glances as Ico, trying to make sure he understands the quetion, but not avoiding it.

Ico chuckles, "Slip of the tongue. Something." He clariefies with a chuckle. "Sorry, too little sleep yesterday." Shaking his head.

"Oh," Jaime says, that seeming to make more sense to him as he considers, "Alright, something I didn't mention last time." He goes over in his head what he mentioned last time. Then he says, "Swimming. I like to go swimming whenever I can, or waterskiing, boating. I like being out on the water. You?" He gestures with his bottle in Ico's direction.

Ico grins, "Yeah, don't worry. Not asking who you've slept with." He assures him. Leaning back in his seat. "Sounds nice. I do enjoy that, but haven't done much of it. Too much of a good thing and whatnot." He suggests. "Music, dancing. Learning stuff. Mythology and so on is neat."

Jaime raises a brow and then chuckles, "Didn't figure that you were. Not that I'd tell you if you did." He gestures with his bottle and says, "I may be shameless but I'm not rude." He then nods and asks, "You in school like Sparrow and her whole gaggle of neighbors?"

Ico grins and nods. "Fair play." As for school, he shakes his head. "Nah. Already graduated with a major in business management. So now just doing stuff with it." He explains.

"Not going to go for a Masters or Doctorate or anything like that?" Jaime asks with a grin.

Ico ahs, "Probably not, but we'll see. Maybe I should. I just got a degree to compromise with parents. And well, it helps with setting up things for the band. Dealing with other companies, copy right, and so on." He explains.

Jaime nods his head at that and says, "Well if you can do what you want with what you've already got, then there's no real need for it." He shrugs his shoulders then, and finishes off the remainder of his beer, setting the bottle down on the small cocktail table meant for that purpose.

"Good point." Ico agrees. Finishing his own beer as well. "So. Anything else on your mind?" Is asked with a smile on his lips.

"You said you were a dancer," Jaime says, pulling himself up from his seat. "Let's see you dance." He then begins to head out onto the dance floor, slipping in between those already out there, moving in time with the music.

Ico ahs but shakes his head, "Not a dancer, I enjoy dancing." He clarifies. Moving to rise. Heading towards the dance floor as well. "Let's see what you have, Jaime." He offers and grins at the other guy.

Jaime isn't a dancer either, per se, but he at least has some rhythm and has been out dancing enough that he knows how to move. He won't be winning any competitions, but for the sort of dancing one does in a club? He's doing just fine. He easily slides into the rhythm of the music, winding his way between the other dancers, finding himself a little spot where he can get into the music.

Ico does move with Jaime, applauding his dancing some as he dances as well. Doing some club dancing. Moving easily and following a similar style as Jaime. Shuffling a bit before continuing with amusement. "Looking good, Jaime."

Jaime can't help but laugh a little bit, and watches as Ico shows him up in the dancing department, but doesn't seem to mind. "You clearly do this more often than I do," he says with an easy laugh. "I haven't been dancing in a while."

Ico chuckles, "Dancing is fun, and a different way of expressing music." Stomping his feet in time with the beats of the song. Grinning a bit.

Jaime can't help but chuckle a little at that, not seeming to argue at all. He moves from one song into another, seeming content to dance with whoever decides to join them in that little bubble of space among the other dancers, lifting a hand to wave a bit to a person or two that he knows in the crowd before his attention shifts back to Ico.

Ico does as well, spinning people about as well. Skillful dancing like the both of them do does make people come over, usually. Moving easily with whatever song is on. "How are you doing?" He asks Jaime then, with a chcukle.

Jaime comes to a stop near Ico to listen to what he says and laughs, "I'm doing fine. You? I'm thinking about going to grab another drink." He nods toward the bar. "You want anything?" He waits to see if Ico does, before wandering back in that direction to get himself another.

Ico chuckles and nods, "Doing great." He offers before letting Jaime sneak off. "Smirnoff Ice. Double black, or what it's called." He suggests. A bit of amusement. Continuing to dance for the time being. Just getting to relax some.

Eventually, Jaime returns with the drinks, holding out Ico's for him to take before slipping in to dance with him once more, lifting his own to his lips. "Favorite song to dance to?" he asks, leaning in closer to ask so that it can be heard before leaning back.

Ico takes the drink and smiles, "Thanks." Pondering the question but shrugs soon enough. "No idea. You can dance to all music." He grins a bit at that. "The dancing just changes." Added.

Jaime chuckles, "I suppose so," and leaves it at that, shrugging his shoulders and then falling into the dancing for a time. Eventually, though, he and his drink begin to migrate their way back off the dance floor and over toward the bar, where he had been when Ico had first come in, leaning comfortably to just watch rather than participate as he catches his breath.

Ico does move with Jaime toward the bar once he head there. Chuckling some to himself. "Want to take a break?" He asks and chuckles. Looking at the time. Smiling some. "Don't think Sparrow is coming today." He offers and nudges Jaime. "Also, hope you enjoyed it." Downing the drink. "Don't need to leave just yet, but probably should in a bit."

"Yeah," Jaime says, taking another sip from his drink. "I think I'm good for right now. Just going to enjoy the people watching." There's a good view of the dance floor from where he leans, gesturing a little bit in that direction with his drink. He nods to Ico then and says, "Yeah, was fun. Thanks for coming out. We'll see about horror movie night sometime later in the week, maybe."

Ico smiles and nods. "Indeed. And was fun to hang out." Standing with him for a bit. "Sorry, just need to help some at work, is why. But not really working. Just setting stuff up." He explains, sighing. Moving to order another beer for them both. Offering one to Jaime. "Still got a bit though. So one last beer should be fine."

"Yeah? What do you need to set up?" Jaime asks. "Need some help?" It's not like he's doing anything else other than hanging out tonight. He nods at the offer of the beer, and when it arrives, he takes the drink with a "Thanks" and a dip of his head. "I've got nothing going on tonight. Short job tomorrow in the afternoon, but nothing first thing in the morning."

Ico shakes his head, "Just helping with people and so on. People that might have called ahead to be on the guest list and stuff. You know, to be sure it isn't full." Shrugging some. Nodding and smiling. "Thanks for the offer, but you might just be standing around." He tells her and nudges. "Keep me company drinking this, then we can see each other next time we find something to do." He suggests.

"Oh, not like.. got it," Jaime says, having imagined needing to set up something physically, like moving things around. He nods, understanding better what Ico meant. "Yeah, can't help much with that. I'm more of a lifting boxes and building things kind of help." He seems fine to keep Ico company through their last beer, however. He drinks his slowly and then says, "Sure. No worries. Maybe sometime you'll introduce me to your bandmates."

Ico smiles and nods, "Thanks though." As for bandmates he nods again. "Oh, sure. Hope you get to soon enough." He suggests. Clinking bottles as he drinks more.

Jaime clinks his bottle with Ico's and chuckles, "Unless you don't want me to for some reason?" He lifts a brow, studying the other man curiously.

Ico shakes his head. "Got no reason not to." He assures Jaime. "We just haven't gotten to do much band stuff, so want to get to do that first." He suggests. "Unless we just all run into one another." A swig follows.

Jaime smiles a little bit in amusement and says, "Don't worry. I'm not going to try an steal any of your bandmates," as though that were Ico's concern. His grin is mischievous as he lifts his bottle and takes another swallow. His phone buzzes again and he pulls it out. This time he does reply to the message on it and chuckles. "Guess I'm getting summoned away, anyway. It was good to see you, man. Take care, huh? Until next time."

Ico chuckles and nudges Jaime. "If you do I'm stealing one of yours." He threatens. But it is playful. "Ah, have fun. See you next time and take care." Downing his beer to be able to head out with Jaime, at least.

Jaime grins at Ico and says, "Turnabout is fair play," agreeing easily enough. "Thanks," he chuckles. "I've got a bedtime story to read to a four year old who insists she will not sleep until uncle Jaime tells her a story. Going to go rescue her before her mother loses her mind." He walks out with Ico, and once they are on the street, gives him a wave before heading off to his truck.
