(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : Shit. You are awake, sorry.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Yeah...were you hoping that I wasn't awake? 'cause that's a pretty weird hope for most texting. Sup?

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : I don't really know what I was doing, I was just.. yeah.. thinking of you, I suppose.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : I couldn't sleep. Why are you awake though? Some sort of case? There's too many reasons for why I'm awake.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : I'm awake because I went for my morning run, now I have coffee, and then work in a few hours.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Why couldn't you sleep?

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : Well, Detective, as I said.. I had been thinking of you. And.. voices.. sometimes it's hard to shut them out completely when I'm exhausted.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Exhausted.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Isn't that the time that you should close your eyes and go to sleep at that point?

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : That's what one would think. But, alas, here we are.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Tried running? Always helps me clear my head.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : I'll try it next time. For now though, talking with you is distraction enough.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : No one else you know is awake, are they?

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Pretty sure I'm not that distracting.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : No. Not unless you count my boss, possibly. Or a few bad influences. But, I don't want to be barking up those trees right now.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : You are interesting though.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : For example; you were running earlier, yes?

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : I was, yeah.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : See, that's interesting. But, now I'm curious.. What do you wear when you go for your runs? Sweats? Leggings? Or maybe those cute little running shorts like you used to wear for track?

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : That's a bold question, and not sure who you're used to talking to, but I'm not going to just fall over myself to tell you what I'm wearing. Not a dumb teenager.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : You're no fun, Detective. You could just make something up and I'd be none the wiser.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : But I apologize, none the less. That was no boldness on my part, simply a sleep addled mind that shouldn't really be engaging in conversation at this time.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : Perhaps I should go, and stop pestering you.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : You should have just owned the question, I'd never have been the wiser.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : This is true.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : But to answer, I wear weather appropriate clothes. Can't say that dressing to impress is a priority.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : Much different from the girl you were in school then, Detective.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : I like that. Practical. Good for you, Detective.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Yeah. Good for me.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : What are the chances you’ll be free anytime today?

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Depends on what happens today, but eventually I'll be off work for the day.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : Well, keep me in mind either way.

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : For after work?

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : Yes, for after work, Detective.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : The only reason you would see me while at work, would be if I were to have committed a crime of some sort. And I do think, that would hurt any chances of this going anywhere. Don't you?

(TXT to Jericho) Charlie : Generally speaking, yeah. One, it's against the rules to date a suspect. Two, I'd never date a suspect even if it wasn't against the rules.

(TXT to Charlie) Jericho : Exactly my point, Detective. So keep for me in mind for after work then, if you will. In the mean time, have fun keeping the streets safe, and be careful.
