2019-10-31 - Hidden Content: Episode III

Cameron slides into frame from on top of a rolling chair, spinning slowly, her arms tucked in close, her legs drawn up. "WHAT UP, CRAZIES!?" She shoots her arms and legs out like a surprise starfish, but keeps turning slowly due to momentum, slowly coming to a stop facing away from the camera.

Cue the generic spoooOOoooOOooky intro music, the OG Amulet original 'Sing You To Your Death' as an X-Files-lite montage of images flash on screen. When the camera comes back, the brunette is sitting at the desk, facing the camera once again in a sleeveless t-shirt with her hair loose and wild.

A quick flash of various unappetizing looking mushrooms and questionable 'all natural' products fills the screen, then it's back to Cameron at her desk as she leans back in her chair, propping one foot up on the edge of the desk.

"Okay, so this week I want to talk about the basics of magic, something I've been discussing with a friend lately. Namely, 'what are spells'? How do they work? Why do them?"

"So, like, when you have the Gift because you're a True Practitioner, here meaning a Witch or a Warlock, you can kind of... 'speak' to the energies of things around you. Not with words, but with your soul. Think of it, like, if you have a dog, right? You can teach it certain commands, and it will obey. But, just like a dog, if you are mistreating it, or don't know what you're doing, magic can turn on you."

"Spells are a type of focus, they help you concentrate and learn the 'commands' to control your magic. Like if you want to light something on fire. You need to 'tell' it to ignite! But if you do it wrong, you might light something else on fire, or yourself, or- or! Like... nothing at all."

"Um, anyway, maybe this is all confusing? Hold on, I have diagrams..."

The foot comes down from the desk as Cameron sits up and leans to the side, reaching for posterboards with weird and confusing flowchart on them. Nothing gets any more clear the longer the video goes on.
