Text: People are so stupid.

It isn't like Evie to say something negative about /anyone/. SHe didn't even disrespect the guy who knocked her over while trying to get in line for a movie the night before. She apologized for being in his way and then darted off into the crowd to get away. And yet...

Text: I can't handle this. AGH!

Text: R U free 2nite? Pls?

Text: Sorry 2 be so clingy

Evie will probably be most of the way to Alison's before she can even get a response. Stomp-dragging her feet, hands buried into the pockets of that denim jacket of hers, her eyes turned toward the ground while she wears an expression that seems purposefully designed to ignite whomever attracts her fury.

One would have to look a little bit closer to see her eyes are a little swollen. She probably didn't sleep last night. Of course, Alison already knows Evie had been working on a major project and was thinking of pulling a late night job to do the final touches.

Evelyn is never afraid to put in extra effort to strive for perfection. Even if she does get annoyed when she misses the mark.

Alison groans a little as she's woken up by her phone. One little notification wouldn't do it, but hearing the little clip from 'Pure Imagination' play a few times within quick succession does the trick. She fumbles for her phone in the dark, turning the screen on, and frowing when she sees the messages from Evie.

Text:Yes Im home come over

The redhead pulls on a shirt from the top of the hamper over her bare torso, and a pair of panties over the lower half. Her hair's a wild mess, incredibly frizzy. She kinda stumbles towards the door of her trailer, not really thinking yet, but she lives pretty close by anyways. It won't take long for her to arrive.

Evie knocks repeatedly on the door, her usual perfect three beat knock a little wavery for once. She's breathing deeply through her nose, quick gasps of air, trying to keep herself steady. Once shes allowed inside the small woman drops her school bag beside the door and slips right out of her converses, lifts and all. Evie doesn't stop to rearrange everything the way she usually does, instead turning quickly to face Alison now that she's inside.

"Hi. I woke you up, didn't I? Shit. I'm sorry. I should've waited..." Evie flashes the redhead a smile. She doesn't appear taken aback o r even concerned about the frizzy bed hair. In fact, Evelyn rarely gives any indication at all she's even noticed anyone's appearance in particular with a few very specifc exceptions. "Completely... Insensitive of me."

Already more composed than she'd been outside Evelyn steps a little closer to Alison, slowly. "How are you?"

Alison just goes shh shh shh shh shh and wraps her arms around Evie, squeezing her tight. She keeps making that little shh sound while squeezing her close, resting her head on her shoulder for a few moments before letting go.

Alison's place has actually gotten considerably neater over the past few days while Evie's been busy with schoolwork. It's not perfect, but it's a lot more organized than it had been. No dirty plates out, no clothes where they shouldn't be, no garbage. There'd probably be dust in the odd place, but nothing that you'd notice without a well trained eye that was looking for it. There's even a shoe rack by the door to the trailer. Alison's converses and heels are even on it, arranged properly.

"Babe. It's fine. C'mere." She ignores the question about how SHE'S doing, and takes the blonde's hand in hers and leads her down the hallway back to her bedroom, where she snaps her fingers and points into the bed. It's not intended as a command so much as the most efficient way of communicating what she wants Evie to do while Alison's only partially awake. Alison climbs in as well.

Whether Evelyn takes it as a command or merely an enticing suggestion the result seems to be more or less the same. The blonde leans into Alison as she's led down the hallway, holding onto that hand tightly. She climbs rihgt into the bed as well, shedding her coat as she does so. She sits on the edge of the bed, feet dangling, right until the moment wherein the redhead climbs into the bed next to her.

Evie breathes a heavy sigh and leans her head onto Alison's shoulder, drawing her knees in slightly as she does so. "S'a little cold in here," she half mumbles as she curls closer, almost reflexively. "I didn't mean to freak out at you in texts. It's nothing. I just wanted to see you for a little bit."

Alison wraps herself protectively around the Evie, then pulls the blankets over top of them. That'll probably be enough warmth. Maybe? "Hi, missed you~" She slurs a little bit. "It's fine. What's the matter?" The redhead gives Evie a few soft kisses on the forehead before resting her head back against the pillow, eyes only half open. Her hands travel up and down the other woman's back, careful to avoid the bandaged spot from the recent tattoo work. Well, mostly avoids them, anyways. "Should get you a key made.."

"Nothing's the matter," Evie replies stubbornly, despite the fact she is literally underneath a blanket perched on top of Alison as she answers the question. She balances her small hands on the other woman's chest and then rests her head there as well, layng across her. She sucks in a deep breath, exhales sharply, and adds, "I fixed it. I was just being stupid." WIth a bonless shrug the girl quickly but unhurriedly changes the subject. "Key? You think? What if I start coming in here and cleaning everything and climbing up on top of you so I can join you while you sleep?"

Alison lets loose a little grunt of frustration. "Evie. I haven't spent the last few days cleaning up my trailer so that you don't feel so uncomfortable here just so that I'd get sassed." She squeezes the other woman a little closer. "I wouldn't mind waking up to your face a little more often, though."

Alison reaches up brushes Evie's hair with her nails. occasionally providing little calming brushes against her scalp. "I don't think you'd be blowing up my phone like that if you weren't upset about something. And that scowl on your face doesn't suit you. Tell me what's wrong."

"That wasn't what I meant. I'm sorry," Evie replies to the reprimand. She has no trouble closing what little gap remains between them when Alison squeezes, however. Evie leansinto the touches on her scalp slightly, her breathing slowly mellowing. "It was just something stupid. Some idiot at school decided that he had enough credits to complete his program so he didn't bother finish any of his projects. Then he went afterm e for my jacket and stuff, and I just..." She gives another brief shrug. "But really, your place is looking really good! I didn'[t mean that like that. I just mean... If yo ugive me a key it's a lot harder to get rid of me, right?"

"Ugh." She rubs her forehead against the woman affectionately. "He sounds like a real prick. I'm sorry." A pause. "You could send Madison after him..?" She's joking, but the tone of voice change that'd be a big clue to that doesn't quite come across, her normally soft-spoken voice somewhat rougher with having just woken up.

"Why would I EVER want to get rid of you? You're too cute to let go." Another pause. "Are you going to have enough time to finish your stuff? I'd help but I don't think I'd be much help, just slow you down."

"Sending Madison after him would be too much. She would murder that asshole," Evie replies in a tone that makes it hard ot tell if she is serious. She curls into Alison much more comfortably now, finally relaxing entirely asshe sucks in another deep breath. "Anyway, I don't know. Jsut having the option might be nic,e" she rpelies gently to the questio naobut beign rid of her. "But Iam going to stay here for awhile anyhow..." She sighs very softly then, twisting a little against the redhead's form as she adjusts herself to be more comfortable. "If you want to get some more sleep that would be okay," Evie suggests. "I don't mind just laying here with you."

"That'd be the point, wouldn't it? The knives would come out, and it'd be all over for that asshole." Alison giggles a bit, shaking from within her chest. "You can stay here as long as you want. I wasn't gonna sleep for much longer anyways, there's like.." She checks her phone. "45 minutes left on the alarm. The first alarm, anyways."

"Exactly, she'd end him. In case you forgot, my job is to keep Maddie from going around murdering people," Evie states clearly, elbowing Alison lightly in the side. "Anyway. I guess I'll stay then," Evie finishes finally. "Right here." She idly runs her fingers up and down Alison's shoulders and sides as they lay there. "Later I want to try that freckle counting thing I mentioned."

Alison giggles some more at Evie's mission statement, but then goes "Hey!" as she's elbowed.

Alison wiggles a little as Evie runs her fingers over her skin. She murmurs a little, appreciative little sounds coming from her throat. "Mmm.. sounds nice. I can think of a few places that you could start counting."

"Oh. Where's tha?" Evie asks softly. She shifts again, just enough that she can cock her head back and stare up at Aliso nwith those wide ingenue eyes. "I need to keep a careful count, so it's importan to be clear on where to start. So..." Evie givesa slow shrug. "I would love to hear your sugggestions." her fingers continue to roam Alison's sides as she speaks. "I guess the first question might be 'where /don't/ you have freckles..."

Alison opens her eyes wide and makes a really obviously fake HMMMM sound. "Well, there's freckles prety much all over, but I was thinking that you could start with my ass. Either cheek is fine." She compliments that little line with a firm squeeze of Evie's butt through her jeans, giggling away.

"Well, if I am going to do that you need to roll over onto your stomach," Evie replies seriously. She is disentangling herself from Alison now, her tight little ass tensing beneath thos exploring fingers. Evie rolls to her side and then gets to her knees, looking down at the redheaded woman beside her. "Come on. You just volunteered to lay here for like two hours while I count. Let's do this right."

Then Evie slides down from the bed and moves over toward where she'd left her bag. She produces a memo pad and pen and looks back over toward Alison as she holds it up. No, really.
