The roomba's Alison's trailer. And Alison's the cat. Except she's nowhere near as graceful as a cat, and doesn't have the same knowhow as Grant does when jumping around on the roofs of the trailer park.
Alison and Giada clear the air a little bit. Friends is fine too, sometimes.

It's a cold night. It's January. All the nights in Gray Harbor in January are cold. That doesn't stop the trailer park's token redhead from being outside, though. Specifically, she's sitting on top of the end of her trailer, facing the road, legs dangling underneath her. She's wearing a sweater, jeans, and her big boofy jacket.
There's a joint between her lips, burning away like a street light in the overall darkness of the trailer park night. She inhales, then exhales slowly, trying to blow smoke rings from her lips. Not really doing a great job of it, though.
Gigi hasn't been back to the trailer park in a few days. She's had Beth checking in on Bug, but the fourteen year old babysitter is terribly unpredictable, so she's come back to lay eyes on her sister for herself. She had to time it right, come in while mom and step dad are doing ... stuff ... and then slip out before anyone notices her. She's done that. and looks worse off for having done that because her inclination is to stay.
Strolling through the park, towards the back in the direction of the woods, Gee has her head bent forward and her hands in the pockets of her leather jacket. Her thoughts are anywhere other than around her and certainly wouldn't look skyward regardless, so she misses Alison sitting on the edge of her roof as she passes her trailer. She stops in front of it, glances up at the door, then sighs with slumping shoulders and starts towards the woods again.
Alison had seen Giada come out of the woods in the first place. She didn't quite know what to say, if anything at all, so she just watched the beanie capped and goggled woman do as she pleases. Even as she went into the other trailer down the way, then came back out a few moments later, only the redhead's blue eyes paid any attention.
A puff, and then a long, slow exhale, serving multiple purposes in that of a sigh as well as that of letting the smoke out. She watches the woman stop by her door, then turn away. Before Giada can get too far away, though, Alison calls out. "How's Bug doing?"
The voice from on high startles the shit out of Gigi walking further along the side of the trailer and she physically jumps with a quiet grunt when glancing around and then up when no one immediatley pops out of the bushes at her wielding a chainsaw. Her fists are up, ready to get dangerous, but seeing as it's Ali... or thinks that it is anyways since it's dark as hell in the park... she settles down and puts a hand to her chest, "For fucks sake, Aliroo, what the hell are you even doing up there? I just shit myself..."
Startling someone prone to being high as hell on psychedelics is super mean.
She takes several deep breaths and bends over hands upon her thighs. Once she's a little chilled, which isn't quickly, she straightens and looks up at the dangling redhead, "She's fine.. she's sleeping... why are you on your roof?"

The redhead smirks briefly at the flight or fight reflex kicking in somewhere deep within Giada's brain, clearly choosing the latter before the former. The smirk's soon falling away in favour of one more reflective of her somewhat dour mood. "Sorry. You know where the toilet is if you need it. I might've peed a little."
She takes another hit, holding it in for a momentas she looks down to the ground - not meeting Giada's eyes just yet. "Good that she's doing alright. I checked on her a couple times when he wasn't there, but I don't really know what I'm doing around kids." Another hit, an exhale. "I was hoping that I could get a look at the stars for a bit. Clouds had other plans."
With a soft grunt, she goes to start getting down from the roof of the trailer. She turns so that she's facing the trailer, places her hands on the edge, and then lowers herself down to subsequently drop the relatively short distance onto feet -- except her hands don't quite give her the purchase that she was planning on, either. They slide right off the edge of roof as her body weight shifts to rely on them, and as a result, she comes crashing to the ground, falling the few feet down in a heap, puffy jacket and all.
"Oh for fuck's sake. Ow." She doesn't look hurt. It wasn't that much of a drop. But she managed to eat shit either way, and doesn't seem to have any immediate plans to get up. Her joint's still in her lips, at least.
"I need no panties, is what I need." Gigi gripes, but she's probably just joking along at this point, watching Alison shuffle around with a raised brow that clearly indicates she thinks this is a monumentally terrible idea.. but it's like watching a train-wreck. Inwardly she wants to tell her redheaded friend to stop, ward her off this self destructive course of action, but... she wants to see how it plays out.
Maybe she sticks it, right?
Then she does not stick.. and the guilt center of Gee's brain lights up. Her mouth pulls back in a painful, hissing, frown. All her teeth visible as she skips a few steps, and jogs the rest, to squat down directly beside the fallen piper. "You alright there, babe?" Arms draped across her bent knees, one hand comes out to scissor the joint in her friends lips to bring it up to take a hit. Holding the smoke as she stands, joint in her fingers, hand down to help Ali up from the ground. "That was less than graceful... be glad my phone is dead or there would ''definitely'' be pictures."
Alison groans a little, but takes the offered hand. "Yeah, I'm fine." She uses her other hand to push herself up off the ground, slowly regaining her balance on her feet. "I climbed up from the roof of my car, but didn't wanna hop back down on it, dent it." The woman reaches behind herself, brushing some of the wet and dirt off of her jacket. "Figures. Perfect ending to a perfect day."
Ali reaches back out to take the joint back from Gigi's lips, fingers incidentally brushing across the other woman's skin, then nestles it back between her own lips. "Not the first time that I've been stupid around a pretty girl. It'll hardly be the last."
Gigi grunts around the joint in her lips and takes another quick toke before Alison can grab hold of it, "Eh, it happens to the best of us.." She murmurs huskily as little tendrils of smoke coil out from the corners of her mouth until she sighs out the cloud with a quiet cough into the back of her wrist. "Just be careful." Swinging her hand out to knuckle tap Ali in the abdomen. "You landed on your ass ''super'' graceful.. like the most graceful ass busting I've seen since I fell down a flight of stares chasing a romba."
Alison 's can't help but stare at the smoke as it creeps out of Gigi's mouth. There's always something alluring about that, no matter who's doing it. Perhaps it's the hint of a fire somewhere else, betrayed by the telltale smoke. She's thrown off by the hit to the ribs, even through the boof of her jacket. "Ey."
"Yeah, well. I bet you were high as a kite. I feel pretty damn sober, so I don't have much of an excuse aside from being a dumbass." She takes another hit, squinting back at the moment. Nothing said immediately, but then she gets right into it. "How's the girlfriend?" No sense in dancing around it for any longer.
"I definitely was high as fuck, yeah." Gigi says quietly, probably still is actually, she almost always is. Like her status quo is high and everything inbetween are the dull moments, "And it was probably a cat and not a romba, but it had blinking lights and..." She trails off, smile falling off her face.
There's tension. She can sense it.
Then the reason for the tension is put out there... Her head jumps upwards, then drops into a low nod, "She's good. Her driver dropped me off..." Rubbing at the back of her neck with a little side glance at Alison. "Is this bugging you? I feel like it's bugging you.. I was really fucked up when we were texting and it was a few hours before it all collapsed down on me and whatever. I don't want it to bug you."

Alison snickers a little. "I mean, chasing a roomba around, I'd hope so." It wasn't really meant as a question. "Maybe it was a cat on top of a roomba like you see on youtube and shit? I'd probably chase after that too."
"Cool." To being dropped off. Maybe she'd imagined the woman coming out of the woods? Who knows. She sighs a bit, tossing the roach of the joint to the ground and stubbing it out with the toe of her sneaker. "No. I.. I just kinda get attached quickly. It's dumb." Her gaze drifts back up to look Gigi in the eyes, then down to her hand, before reaching out to take it in her own, squeezing the woman's fingers lightly. And with that, she's in Gigi's head.
It's nothing aggressive. It's a slideshow of memories - girls, a few boys, over the years. Fleeting little flings, nothing lasting more than a few weeks in a long, long time. But between Gigi and Alison, the emotions are more specific. She's bummed about the situation, but not bitter towards Giada, at least. There's some disappointment, sure, but she'll live. She had hopes, no plans exactly, but the affection that she feels for Gigi despite the short time that Alison's known her percolates throughout it all.
And then the redhead's hand drops away from Goggles over here with a shrug. "It's gonna bug me, but I'll live."
"I don't remember a cat..." Gigi murmurs, kind of distractedly really, down at the ground. She shuffles a little, but doesn't look nervous.. hell she barely looks awkward, but Gee is a strange bird like that. Very little actually gets under her skin, at least not for long. When Alison takes hold of her hand and she sees those images, though...
She frowns... obviously she frowns... how couldn't she frown?
With a sigh, Gi steps up and wraps Ali in a hug, "You're still my girl, babe." It's a tight embrace, even if a little robotic and stiff, and ends shortly after with Gigi brushing a thumb across Ali's cheek. "I can't explain it... Kai and me." Her palm falls away, both hands going into her pockets, breath fogging a ltitle in the brisk night air. "The first time I saw her it was like a light went off in my head. That I knew she was special to me somehow." She looks down and away, kind of like she's following something dancing across the dirty.
When she looks back to Ali she's temporarily lost, but regains quickly, "Which doesn't mean I wasn't into you.. and it's not like I'm going anywhere right? I'd still help you bury a body, Aliroo."
Alison hesitates, but only for about half a second, but then her arms squeeze back around Giada, sighing deeply. "No, I get it. I'm not mad." And then she lets go again.
"Yeah, I know that feeling. Felt it a bit when I saw you crawling around--" She gestures a few feet beside her, where they'd first met. "--but that's just how life goes sometimes. Ever since I moved here though it's just.. so quick? It's like, hey, that person's a little shiny, and then next thing I know my heart's skipping a few beats." Alison shakes her head, grinding the toe of her sneaker into the long since destroyed roach.
She smirks at the last revelation. "I think it was you who had the body hiding problem, babe." Returning the diminutive, though it sounds a little strained than it had in days past. She looks back over toward Gigi's.. former? home, just a couple of trailers down the way, then back to the woman. "..I'm still down to help you out with that, if it comes to that." And she says that with a genuine smile, framed on either side with messy red hair.
Gigi pats Alison's cheek affectionately, smiling easily despite the unfortunate way the conversation had gone. Her hand drops back down, returns back into her pocket, and she rocks a little onto her heels, then forward onto her toes rhythmically. "Hah, dude, I was so stoned..." A lot of her stories start that way. Looking around now, maybe that revelation kind of settling into her thoughts until a little frown starts to surface.
"Well, I think you're going to be a fucking amazing catch... ya know once you're ready for that.." Blinking a few times and glancing back up to Ali, "You're really are pretty cool, Aliroo. I mean, you're fucking dinomite in the sack.. loyal as fuck to the people close to you and man, you're a redhead.. Do you not know how panty dropping hot that is?" Typical Gigi.
"When you're ready to settle down with someone, you're going to rock their fucking world, babe." Grinning like a cheshire, "And I'll still be around... hanging out on your couch in my underwear eating beef jerky in ranch dressing, which is fucking amazing I don't care what you say."
Alison snirks at the admission, and then laughs at the compliments. "Some people are into the whole redhead thing.." She gestures down the other direction towards the trailer belonging to someone who'd just recently moved in. "Other people scream at you and call you the devil in Finnish." Another shrug.
"Maybe. I don't think I believe in that shit anymore after this one ex I had just after high school, but who the fuck knows."
"You're welcome to crash at my place anytime you need to. Or want to? Whatever. I should probably get to sleep, though, I've got work in the morning." She reaches for the woman once more, taking another hug, though more gently than either of them had gone for before. "You two should come by the Grizzly sometime. I'll hook you up." A grin, and then she turns to head back to the door to her trailer, calling out as she walks away. "Night, Gigi."
