(TXT to Abitha) Kim : Hey Mac. It's me Kim. You probably know since I give you my number. I had a great time the other night and I don't want to bother you. Just I need someone to talk. Shit has gotten really weird for me.
(TXT to Kim) Abitha : I had a great time, too! What you mean weird?
(TXT to Abitha) Kim : Like seeing things weird. Seeing things around people. Like things happening weird. You'll think I am crazy, I think I am crazy.
(TXT to Kim) Abitha : It depends on what kind of crazy you're thinking. Do you want to come over?
(TXT to Kim) Abitha : I just realized what it's like outside. You don't have to if it's dangerous.
(TXT to Abitha) Kim : Like really crazy, stuff I can't real put in a text. If you aren't too busy I would like to drop by. My hotel isn't too far away so I think driving will be okay.
(TXT to Kim) Abitha : Ok, be careful, see you soon.
Abitha is waiting by the front window, looking outward into the driving snow. Hands shoved deep in the pockets of her D.Va hoodie, she waits impatiently to see Kim would get here safe. The lights were dimmed, no one else manning the shop with how dangerous it was to be out. Abitha had honestly forgot she had sent her employees home around noon and had been doing some repair work in her back room, so there's a slight tinge of hot metal in the air.
A short time later a honda accord pulls up outside of the shop, Kim isn't entirely unused to driving in this sort of weather. She is wearing a heavy jacket with the hood up as moves to entrance. Today not dressed up black jeans visible and getting snow on them quickly. All of which make her hurry just not so fast that she could slip and fall on the sidewalk. Giving a quick wave when she sees Abitha in the window.
Abitha is quick to haul the door open so Kim can make a quick entry, shoving it back closed behind her and flicking the lock shut behind her, shivering with just the blast of cold that had come in briefly. Thankfully, the shop was gently warm inside. Abitha is staring at Kim, wide eyed, though, the whole time, knowing exactly what she was feeling about the girl from the moment she'd left her car. Kim was different now. She had Glimmer. At a loss, as she'd never known someone who hadn't then had, she is just sort of staring at the little hacker, blinking.
Kim shivers at the sudden change in temp and unzips her jacket after she comes in. Just a simple black tee underneath. Her hair pulled into ponytails and more unkempt than the few times Mac has seen her. Dark circles under her eyes. First a smile for Mac turns into frown, no she's seeing that hallucination of the glow around her too. Come on Kim push it away keep yourself together. With the way she is stared at "I sent you a crazy text and you think I'm crazy." are the first words out of her mouth "I'm seeing glowy things around people and I can do things. Things with only my mind. Oh Mac I've lost my mind and I even heard someone's voice in my head." she know how it sounds and she looks so scared.
Abitha reaches out and grabs Kim by the hand, tigging the girl along on her way up to the loft. "I think this is a Kingston Black kind of night." The door had already been unlocked. Her phone is brought out briefly, a text shot off before its tossed onto the couch. She leads Kim to it as well, making sure she woukd sot before she. Goes to retrieve drinks. As prefaced, two bottles of Whitewood's Kingston Black cider, the highest ABV they make, are brought over, one past over. "Ok, soooo..." Abitha plops herself down. Into a comfy seat, taking a brief sip before setting the bottle aside on the coffee table, crossing her legs beneath her. "Welcome to the Club."
Kim doesn't try to take her hand, and at another time she would very happy about it. Not now though. She just follows along so worried. "A hard liquor night to be sure." she comments before making the rest of trip in silence. Kim does have a seat on the couch while she watches Mac get something for the two of them. With one brought over for her she takes a very long pull from it. As Mac takes a seat and talks she first just blinks for a time "You aren't making fun of me right now are you?" well Mac seems to be serious "Which sort of...are you saying you see things too. You can do things?"
(TXT to Maggi) Abitha : Hey, you busy?
(TXT to Abitha) Maggi : Nah Fam. Wassup?😎
Abitha shakes her head vehemently. She straightens her shoulders, facing Kim as she gets into an almost meditative pose with her legs folded. "Easier to just..." She shakes her hands out quickly, then clapsnthem together, eyes on her joined hands. Slowly, she brings her eyes up to Kim as she begins to slowly start to glow more. She gently draws her hands apart and sparks begin to crackle and play between the spaces her fingers create. She waits to see how the girl reacts as her phone buzzes and chirps, "Char-charmander!" She'd pick the phone back up to read and text again.
(TXT to Maggi) Abitha : Come over? I know its gross out, but... You're better with some stuff.
(TXT to Abitha) Maggi : Squint Ohk Sketchy Mcsketcherson
Kim takes a good look at Abitha and whatever she is going to try to do. More glowing is that she looks like when she accidentally has done things? She jumps up in a hurry at sparks. She isn't trying to run away, but this is something new. "Alright so that's interesting. Can I do that?" she holds outs one hand and tries to really focus. With nothing happening "Scratch that off of the list." she is trying to be calm. So far so good her nerves aren't being tested too much. She sits back down "Sorry I was surprised. I've only been able to take part a hair curler and lift a wine glass." taking another drink. At least she knows now that maybe she isn't so crazy.
(TXT to Maggi) Abitha : You coming over or not?
Another quick text exchange, then Mac is chuckling, but offers a shrug, "I only know what I can do. I kinda had to figure it out as I go?" Mac retrieves her drink and takes a quick pull before leaning against the back of the couch and getting comfortable again. Her eyes narrow for a moment as she looks at Kim, the other girl maybe able to feel Abitha reaching out to her, sort of a walkie-talky sort of signal, asking to be heard if Kim knew how to let her, <<You said you heard someone in your head? Like this?>> Something is clear about how Mac is doing it: short bursts. Brief blips of power, then letting it recede again.
Kim does wonder who Abitha is texting. Still there other things to focus on right at the moment. "Oh I see. Sorry I am sure there isn't a manual for sort of stuff. I mean is there? Cause that would so helpful." settling in to try to figure out what this all means. Tilting her head slight as Abitha is trying something else now. Kim really doesn't know how to let the gamer, she doesn't know how to resist either though. This is someone trusts so there isn't a freak out at the voice. She gives a nod and focuses back trying to convene her thoughts. She does try and can't quite do the same thing Abitha can "I guess you couldn't hear me back or I can't do it. Yeah it was just like that but in Leon's voice. Can you do that with anyone...eh telepathy?"
(TXT to Abitha) Maggi : OMW 👽
"For me, it's kind of like a push-pull? If a person is like me, they can want to hear me, or not. And it's not just limited to words. Anyone can resist what I do, even normies." The phone goes off, and Abitha looks relieved. "Ok, Maggi's coming over, too. Here, let me send you something that Sparrow sent me... That she got from someone else?" Abitha prefaces it with a bit of a comical squint off and up, wondering if it were an important thing. She was told to share... She thought. Anyhow. Kim receives a doc via text.
Her phone goes off one more time while Kim is reading, and Abitha hops off the couch to go back downstairs to retrieve Maggi. She must not have lived very far away, it had only been about ten minutes. She leads the blonde back upstairs, "You know where I keep the ciders. Anyhow, look who the newest winner of the super power lottery is!" Abitha adds a flourishing motion toward Kim, grimacing a little apologetically.
There are a lot of questions she wants to ask. Being sent a mini-guide forestalls them as she opens it up "Catbus? That can't really be thing." she says out loud. As she starts to pour over the doc intently. It's new info and the sort of thing she just eats up it up. There are new terms and things she has to put into context. Time passes as she is focused.
The grunge clad Maggi does in fact live extremely close to Abitha's establishment. She in adorned in a blue shirt, ripped black skinny jeans, a multicolored plaid scarf, black suede half boots, and her signature leather jacket. An eyebrow raises at Kim's presence in Mac's apartment in Bit's direction. The arch only growing in height at the mention of the dark-haired woman's glittery state. Looking quizzically toward Kim.
"Were you mad? I was mad."

Kim looks up from the reading material with Maggi coming up. "Was I mad? Oh the event. No I was really drunk and I apologized to Mac. I guess I should apologize to you as well. I'm usually really not like. So I'm sorry. I guess Leon didn't mention anything and that I should talk to you and..." her cheeks getting red. She isn't so freaked out about all of this that she can't be embarrassed by her behavior at the first meeting. "Look I'm so sorry." apology is her default in this sort of situation.
"Super powers. I guess this is." giving a short response to Mac's comment. Okay time for her to just drink the whole rest of her cider down. Now she just wants to find a deep hole to hide in.
Abitha's eyes sweep from Maggi to Kim as she rounds the couch and is about to resume her seat... Then Kim drains the bottle and Abitha is reversing with a giggle. Ok, maybe back to Redcap or the Summer flavor for Kim. As she pulls open the fridge drawer setting another bottle on the counter, then looking up to Maggi to see if she wanted one. However, when she lifts up a bottle though, its instead a chilled bottle of Svedka. She breaks into a mischevious grin.
Maggi concentrates for a moment, closing her eyes and almost missing part of what Kim says. After a deep breathe she seems to focus again looking confused, and then laughing.
"What no, I meant when your sparkle stuff manifested!" The laugh is a tinkling sound. It felt weird to hear Leon mentioned, and weirder that Kim knew to associate him with her. Then she remembered Hera's collapse. Seeing the booze out of the corner of her eye, she clasps her hands together in a praying motion.
"With whatever weirdo health juice you have please Bit. Did you know you are both tri-breed harlots?" A dramatic eyeroll takes place as she looks from one to the other. "You deserve each other." She snarks, collapsing onto the couch.
Kim looks at the first bottle that Abitha pulls out nodding her head something fierce. The second she almost wants to ask for that, but she has not intention of getting too drunk. In her current mood that would very bad. Maggi's laugh followed by a clarification she makes a O motion with her lips. Now somehow it's even worse. There is a even deeper blush "No I was determined. Hera had her hair caught in a curler. She was screaming in pain and was just trying to take it apart and just couldn't. I wanted help her not be in pain so I just opened a hand and it came apart. I really freaked out after that. Seeing people as glowing. Thewlis and Leon helped me calm down so I wouldn't freak out Hera." she explains her whole first experience at least in summary. It still feels weird saying it all out loud. "Tri-breed? Ah in what way?" and with Maggi's last comment doesn't make it easier on her blushing. Yeah this is going to be another embarrassing night for her.
Abitha was just holding the vodka bottle, looking a bit confused. Maggi was the bartender, what the heck did she know? "Sorry, we're what? What does that even mean?" Abitha wheels on the fridge, opening the side with her juices on one side. She was not trying to show Maggi the remark had embarrassed her a bit as well. She grabs some orange and pineapple juice, uses her phone to check proportions, and makes Maggi a quick sippable. She brings both drinks to the other women, then finds herself a seat somewhere comfy between the two, drawing her legs up under herself. To Kim, she remarks, "I can tell you that there's not much to worry about with Hera, she was the redhead lightweight from the bar, right? Normies have a way of forgetting or ignoring stuff. It just doesn't seem to stick, whatever you talk about. We're the only ones that seem to know or remember weirdness."

Maggi makes child like grabby hands at the cocktail, taking the beverage it one hand, and sitting up a little. Being a bartender was exactly why she preferred for a fancy drink to made made for her. It was kind of like a chef being sick of cooking after a work day. She takes a sip and gives a slow nod of approval to Mac.
"Firstly you both have like eight seasons of the 'Vampire Diaries' to watch. Secondly, there are three types of glimmer powers and you both have all three. Me? I can do this."
Maggi reaches out to lazily touch the coffee table there is an audible crack as a section breaks off. She looks to Mac to see if there is some horror on her face with a smug smile. Closing her eyes again, she holds the chunk in place with a finger and with a few deep breaths of concentration the table almost looks better than it did before?
Thank you Thewlis. She had been practicing that all week and wasn't entirely sure it was going to work. "Interesting on the focus bit though, apparently anger and panic are also triggers."
Kim happily accepts the bottle "Thanks Mac." having a smaller sip of the beverage. "Yeah that Hera. She keeps wanting to apologize you for passing out. It is good to know any sort of freak out the normals had wouldn't last. I guess we are just the lucky one then huh? Here's to us lucky ones." she shakes her head a bit at the end. Turning her gaze to Maggi as she does a demonstration. Again something new. She doesn't jump this time as she is more expecting. "From what I just read wouldn't Stranger Things be better. This Veil sounds like the upside down and what I can do seems more like Eleven. I guess I could watch it." she doesn't know if Maggi is joking or not "I honestly haven't been able to do much. Pretty sure I..." she looks at the table and holds open her hand without the cider in, while she focuses and yeah she can't do what Maggi just did. A good thing for that poor coffee table. She sighs "Probably it's a practice. Oh thank you both of you. I thought I was really losing it and to find out more and there are others. You don't know how much of a relief that is."
In the middle of taking a sip, Abitha makes some sound mixing a gurgle with a yelp of pain, springing forward, then swallowing hard, about to curse when Maggi repairs the table. She was gasping for breath and reaching to press gingerly at the recently repaired table. With a sigh of relief, she flops back against the couch, staying on the floor this time. She shoots a glare Maggi's way, then looks just as panicked as Kim holds out her hand. These two were going to be the death of her. She takes a heavy pull from her Kingston, reaching out to whap at Maggi's knee. "Ok, one, you want me to watch a vampire show?" She makes a clear face of displeasure, "Two," she looks to Kim, "Lucky is relative. Have you had a Dream since?" There's weight to that word, real meaning behind it, though Kim might miss it.
Maggi gives a little evil cackle at Abitha's reaction, dropping her hand from the table to sip her drink. Her legs stretch and her back arches in a stretch, kicking off her boots to the floor. "The witches are the hero's." She says, briefly rolling her head to look towards them. She may resemble a cat, laying in there favorite spot.
"I think you guys are lucky, Kim probably could do whatever she wanted if she worked on it, and youuuuu..." She looks to Mac with an accusing stare. "You are already half as strong as Lyric at the third kind." This statement is ended with a dramatic sigh. The visible snow beyond the window makes it apparent she would be here for a bit, so she may as well be comfortable.
Kim shakes her head at Abitha's question "Like the Dreaming thing. no. Regular dreams yeah." she does the extra meaning there as she hasn't had the displeasure of being feed on it yet. "It only has been two days." she gives a shrug to Maggi assessment of the show "I don't think I'm witch. Wouldn't I need spells and stuff? Eh you think so? All it really takes is work? That I can do." she settles into the couch. Trying to figure out what to ask about.
Abitha seems confused at Maggi's reference to Lyric and her power, but honestly, as relatively weird and new everything was, she had no frame of reference to know about that section of her powers. She sighs and lifts up off the floor, settling in to find a comfortable spot to sit on the couch. Her phone is picked up and things are flicked through and tapped. She makes a motion holding the phone like throwing at the large TV nearby. It powers on, a Netflix symbol coming into view. Yup, it was snowing like crazy, she had two friends over, and enough booze and food to keep everyone happy 'til morning.
"One episode. If I see sparkle, I'm fucking out."
