2020-03-11 - The Date Before the Nightmare Before Christmas

(TXT to Park) Alisha : Hi there! I had a wonderful time the other night. There is something mulling around in my head. Guess I should come out with it I suppose. Would you maybe like to grab dinner and possibly a movie at some point with me...I mean like a date?

(TXT to Alisha) Park : Hey! I had a great time too. A date? Sure. Sounds like fun. I'm always doing things the 'wrong' way round. LOL What movie do you want to see?

(TXT to Park) Alisha : Not just you. As far as doing things the wrong way 😉 . Fair warning I haven't been on one for loooong time. So I'm probably going to be rusty. Anyway, Nightmare before Christmas is going to be playing at Starlight if that sounds interesting. If you want to see something else I'm open to suggestions.

(TXT to Alisha) Park : That sounds perfect! But isn't Christmas still 9 months away? Def showing it before Christmas then. Is it a dress-up screening?

(TXT to Park) Alisha : LOL yeah it is more or less. I made a half joking request to Thewlis about doing a screening. And he did, such a sweet man. I don't think it is, but we can if that sounds fun. What about food? Any place that sounds good to you?

(TXT to Alisha) Park : I'll probably dress up anyway though my friend Kim has all the cool Lolita clothes. I'll have to do a monster or something. Should you dress like a monster on a date? Let's do Mexican.

(TXT to Park) Alisha : Don't think I've ever seen anyone around in Lolita wear. Be interesting to see in person. A monster would be nice. If you feel like it. And should you, I mean I don't see anything wrong with it. I think it's pretty awesome. So why not? Mexican is good. I guess we should also work on when. As well if you want me to pick you up or meet there?

(TXT to Alisha) Park : It would be the night the movie is on, right? When's that? So you got the cinema guy to show a movie just for you? Sweet. If we want to make it a proper date, you can pick me up 😃

(TXT to Park) Alisha : It will be showing for awhile. Next two weeks I think. I'll have to check the schedule. That will give us wiggle room. Not just for me, I bet others will go as well. Okay yeah I mean since it's a date and all. To pick you up that is. This will be great 🙂

(TXT to Alisha) Park : Cool. Then it's a date...once we figure out a date to wiggle into.

It might a good thing that Park can't see Alisha during the text conversation, blushing and very nervous. Likely why she choice texting over a face to face meeting. It seemed to go well though and plans were made. Getting back to Park about the dates the movie is available and Ali getting dating advice from her younger sister. Which is surely a good idea. The night does come and she arrives at the shared house to pick up Park. Driving a very well worn in car, part of advice is don't take your date in your patrol car. She parks the vehicle in the driveway and gets out. Since Park said she was dressing up, Ali figured she would as well. Really not practiced at cosplay but does at least have a old Sally Halloween custom and can her make-up well enough. <http://m.worldcosplay.net/photo/2513265> Holding a single rose in a one hand she walks to the door. Finger out to ring the doorbell and she just stands for a few minutes not quite able to it. At last she does though. Waiting for Park or roommates to answer.

Park was expecting Alisha so it will be her smiling, excited face that is revealed by the opening of the door. Her eyes going wide as she sees Alisha's costume and effort. "Oh my gosh! A look of surprise at the rose before her brow furrows. "Is that for me?" Assuming it is, she is blushing brightly, but she won't grab for it or anything rude like that. Park wears a little backpack as well that contains her wallet and various odds and ends.

Alisha's lips curve into a bright smile at seeing Park's excited face. Looking over her outfit as well. "Thank you. I actually thought about texting to let you know I'd be going as Sally. Then I thought maybe two wouldn't be bad." she softly chuckles. "You look so amazing. I've never seen a better looking Jack and wow those stockings are fantastic. Really the whole look is." The words and the gaze do remind her "Yes it is for you. Not too cheesy I hope." with a little reddening of her cheeks she lifts her hand to offer the rose to Park. "You blush is so adorable you know." she says "Would you like to take the rose with you or put it away? I'm ready to getting going as well." she waits for her to decide and then offer her arm to park to walk her back to the car.

Park takes the rose and breathes in the perfume of the flower. "It's lovely" she sighs before breaking her reverie to add, "I'll put it in water now." She's much too excited to take too long and still blushing when she places her arm in Alisha's. "Aren't you the perfect gentleman...gentlewoman. Is that a thing?" She will settle into the car, looking around in awe. "So cool to have an entire car. It's yours, right? Oh, how silly of me. You have a proper job and everything. Of course you can afford a car." She will place her hands delicately on her lap to keep her skirt down.

Alisha just smiles at the appreciation of the rose. The smile still on her face then Park returns. Arm in arm walking to the car "I doubt very much I am, it's something Julie suggested. Saying it's romantic and stuff. Not sure gentlewoman is a thing. Maybe it should be." she muses. Into the driver's seat and starting up the car. "It is technically mine. Used to be the family car. I could get a new one. There are just a lot of good memories in it. It's where I lost my." she coughs a bit. Pulling the car our and into direction of the first stop. "Have you been to Garcia's? It's a great little hole in the wall place downtown. I mean unless you'd like to go to another Mexican place." it dawns on her that she already picked and wants to give a choice.

"What did you lose?" Park asks innocently. "Your car keys? That would be embarrassing. Losing your car keys in the car. Though I guess they'd be easy to find." She watches the world go past. "Garcia's is good. " Park doesn't mind that Alisha is making date choices. The blonde is taking the Korean out on a date so that's what happens, isn't it? "If the car is important...and works...then stick with it" she shrugs. "Too many people just want the latest things when that actually proves they don't care about the latest thing."

"My virginity is what I lost in the car." Alisha states simply before chuckling "I have locked the keys in the car once or twice though." chatting while driving. "Cool. Good food and not inexpensive." nothing is really too far in town and destination will soon be reached. "Exactly. Sometimes I think it would be cheaper for a new one than repairs. Not often though." she nods a bit "I agree with you there. Not saying never get new things, but appreciating what you have is important too. Do you have something like the car. Sentimental value that you keep around?"

"Oh...virginity." Park blushes once more as she peers over into the back seat. No stains that she can see. A shrug as she looks back ahead. "Hmm...my stuffed Pikachu? I guess my keytar might be that. I love it even if it's not very cool. And, you know, I could just use my computer and mixer to make the same noises, but I like having it in my hands. Oh...did you check out the website with my songs on it?"

Alisha chuckles again as Park looks back "It was awhile ago and there was a towel involved." commenting offhandly. "Oh what's the story behind your Pikachu? I don't know a keytar is pretty cool to me. There is something very satisfying about having a physical presence to hold onto. You just don't get that with computer." she says "Yeah I did. Not usually my style of music, but I liked them. I did also very much enjoy the lyrics." in the area of the restaurant she finds a parking spot and pulls in. Bring the car to a halt.

"You're into gothy music, right?" Park smiles. "I can do all kinds of music. I'll try to write one for you if you like. Or do an instrumental or something. You like my lyrics?" She seems quite happy to hear this...cue more blushing. And they've arrived. Park bounces out of the car and waits for her date before heading inside. That people look at the pair strangely due to the way they're dressed doesn't bother Park at all; people are always staring at the way she's dressed.

Alisha nods "In general yes. I like other types as well it's just my favorite." she tilts her head towards Park "You'd really write one for me? That would be really nice and great. Don't feel like you have to. But I would rather like that." smiling at the bounce woman getting a small blush of her own. No one's ever offered to write a song for her before. "Of course I did. Why wouldn't I? Again the blush so adorable." talking about her lyrics. Getting out herself and going inside. Much like Park she is used to people staring at her. Really even the costume isn't too much more outrageous than that she normally wears.

Outside Garcia's does look sketchy leaving up being a hole in the wall. Inside is better with newer furnishing and a typical Mexican place theme. A seat yourself sort of place. Alisha points out a corner booth "Does that look good to you?"

"Perfect" Park nods about the suggested booth. "This is such a pretty place." She struggles to find the bad in things - except when she's writing song lyrics. "I will totally defs write you a song."

Park settles down into the booth, bouncing a bit to check the spring in the seat before removing her backpack to place on the table. "Do they do a platter kind of thing? I want to try one of everything!"

"It is a nice place." Alisha says, not that she really thinks it's all that pretty. A happy look when she confirms she'll write one for song "You are such a sweet person you know." still some touches of her fading blush.

Considering briefly which side she should sit on. Before Alisha takes a seat on the same side as Park. After she's had a chance to check the seat. Setting her purse down under the table. "I know they have sampler for appetizers. Some combination platters. I don't think they have one with everything though. So you are a adventurous food eater as well eh? The fajitas here are pretty good." offering a suggestion "You are welcome to share what I get though." softly nudging Park's shoulder with her own.

Park is more than happy for Alisha to sit alongside her, even sneaking in a quick chaste kiss to the blonde's cheek. "I have to try everything in the world or why even bother living?" she smiles about food adventures. "If I don't like it then i don't like it but it makes no sense to make that decision before you've even tried it. I mean, sure, there are some things where you can think through the danger first. Like, I'm not going to eat rat poison or anything to see what it's like, but people have been living on Mexican food for centuries. Especially Mexicans."

"Fajitas it is. And we can def share" Park nods enthusiastically before bothering to look over the menu. "Let's get an appetizer sampler too." She purses her lips in thought for a moment. "I should be able to afford that. Did you have a good day at work, Alisha?"

Alisha smiles at the quick little kiss. Her brows forrow in brief thought and she dismisses it. "Everything in the world is a pretty tall order. I do agree if you don't at least try it makes life a lot more boring. If you don't like it then at least you tried." she says agreeing before giving a laugh "The exception can certainly be made for dangerous foods and things that are just poisonous."

The decision made pretty quickly and her smile turns into a grin. "Both it is. You can get your own main course if you want. That way you try two things since we're sharing." she looks at the purses lips and lets out a happy sigh "Say Mee. The point of a date is get to know the real person right? Ah I'm not sure if I should be toning myself quite as much as I am. I mean if your doing the same there really isn't a reason. Not saying you are, but is alright if we just be ourselves?" she asks and adds "Don't worry about the cost. I'll cover it tonight since I asked you out. Next time you can get it if you want. And it was a okay day at work. Nothing much yet on, just a few parking tickets." she seems almost disappointed at the boring day on the job. "How was school?"

"You have the kind of job where it's good that it's boring. You don't want to get shot at or anything horrible like that, do you? I mean, sure, it sounds exciting, but it would be a terrible way to go through a day" Park offers with some concern before her bright smile is back. "I'm always me...or Mee...geddit?" She laughs uproariously even if no one else will. "Gosh, I never noticed that before. But, yeah, totally myself. I wouldn't insult you by being all fake and stuff. If you don't want to be toned then don't be. Be yourself because no one else can be."

A little wiggle of her eyebrows. "Oh, there's going to be a next time, is there?" A wink before she nods, "Sure, I can pay for the next one. School was good! We were doing root canals today. Well, not real root canals, but learning all about them. They're really not as painful as people worry about. Not that I've had one but my teeth are good. See!" Another big grin for Alisha, turning her head from side to side as she does so. "Don't worry, by night's end I'll have something stuck in them."

"There are always dangers in my job. No, I don't want to get shot at or have to shot someone. I just like the idea of helping and protecting people. Can't really do that through ticketing. There is a rush in the danger though, I won't deny that. Makes you feel really alive." Alisha offers honestly. She does laugh at the little joke, not as much as Park. She does find the bit of wordplay amusing. "I won't be then." she says before leaning in to give her a kiss on the lips. Nothing too daring except for a tug of the Korean's lips with her own at the end of the kiss. "I've been waiting to do that since I first saw you tonight."

A small blush forms, she reaches back to rub her neck. "That just sort of slipped out didn't it." maybe a little of a gulp at end. "Sounds interesting. I never had much of mind for it. Everyone does need their teeth looked after. I haven't had one yet so I'll take your word for it." she does look over the bright grin with smile "You do have wonderful teeth. Eating will do that unless you were thinking of other things stuck in-between them." she did give permission for Ali to be well her.

Park sighs happily after the kiss. "Then why didn't you do it before?" she purrs, her own cheeks blushing brightly. "You do a very important and necessary job. I hope people appreciate everything that you do and the dangers you face. And, hey, people need parking tickets too. Once they get away with that, they think they can get away with worse stuff. Even parking illegally shows you don't give a damn about the law or other people,. It's important."

"I won't be a dentist though. I'm going to be a famous musical performer! I was really hoping we could do the Saint Patrick's Day concert but too many of us will be occupied." A definite pout over that before she is giggling about what may be stuck between her teeth by the end of the night. "I didn't say food, did I?" she winks before waving a waitress over...or is that just another customer who now looks bemused.

Alisha looking very happy after the kiss. A little exhale at the purred words before embarrassment "My sister's advice for the date, don't start with a kiss. Starting to think I shouldn't have taken it. Just I've only ever been on two dates and those where back in high school and I have no idea what I'm doing." she ends with a shrug "Not everyone appreciates it. But it's fine I do it for everyone. Thanks isn't something I need. I know it's all important for those reasons. Don't want you to think I'm adrenaline junkie or anything. I just want to help people."

She smiles very brightly at Park "You have the talent to be. Should you be in I don't know a art school instead then? Or is there even really anywhere you can learn to be huge musician?" she can't really think there is. "You guys wouldn't be playing. Damn it would have been great to see you perform live. I mean we could both try but they probably aren't looking for a two woman band." she does chuckle at the response "No you didn't." winking back. "Truly you are a woman after my own heart."

"How many dates has your sister been on? I mean, that may apply if it was a first date...and I guess it is...but we've already done more than kiss." Park is not really bothered and happily shrugs it away. "So, you don't do dates anymore, but you still did the sexy times?" No judgement in her tone. "Cool. I think I'm the same. People want to have the sexy times but aren't interested in getting to know me first. Not sure why. I'm not that pretty."

"All my family is in dentistry so I'm following the family tradition. If I still want my allowance, which pays for the dental course, then I do dentistry. It's fine. I don't mind learning how to be a dentist as well as a rock start. There are 'Fame' schools all over the place. One in New York they even made a movie out of. It's okay, I'm learning on the job." Park grins about them as a duo. "I won't be there either, sorry. You should sing solo! I bet you'd be awesome. I have to hear you sing now."

"More than I have been on that's for sure. It is true that we've done way more than kiss, and well she knows how I am. Honestly she was so happy I asked out someone she peppered me with advice. And no I really don't do dates, just friends with benefits. At times not even friends, I tend to move fast for 'sexy times'." Alisha explains matter of factly then listening to Park "I guess the thing is, your the first person I actually wanted to date." getting another blush from her "I think the difference is what you want. Sure I'm doing this ass backwards with getting to know you better after. Mee, look you are very pretty, very full of life, and pretty damn smart. Even if I didn't have a crush on you in the day, I probably still would have asked." and even deeper blush in her cheeks.

"Ah I get it. Look at it this way you'll probably be the first ever dentist rock star." she says with a grin. "So those schools are a thing. Cool I suppose. Nothing wrong with on the job training in the least." she says. "Aww a shame. I got talked into it and I need to make sure a friend of mine doesn't drink too much. I don't know about 1singing solo. They'll probably have a band. I do have a good voice. Sure I'd be happy to sing for you whenever you like. I still want to hear you sing as well." and if the waitstaff still hasn't come she'll flag down one of them to take their order.

"Aww...you say the sweetest things" Park sighs, glowing with her own blushing. "I call myself DJ Dental professionally" she notes. "It's like when people used to chant 'Mental! Mental!' at raves so now they can chant 'Dental! Dental!'" She ponders a moment. "I told you the 'Dental Damn!' idea already, right?"

"Those schools are defs a thing but then my parents would get mad that I was learning that instead of about teeth. I don't want them to be mad, I want them to be proud. Who is your drinking friend? Or should I not ask?" The waitress arrives to take their order and Park orders the appetiser sampler and chicken enchiladas; where does the skinny girl put it all? Once the waitress has moved on, she resumes the conversation. "You obviously like sexy times...since you're very good at it..." More blushing. "So I am totes honored that you also want to have a date with me. Even if it took years to finally ask."

Alisha smiles at the words with her own blush fading. She nods "I remember you saying that in the club. So have they shout out 'Dental! Dental' now? Got to admit that is a funny thought. Just a room full of high ravers calling for dental." she chuckles at the thought. "You did. At least a little. Did you expand on it some?" she was a bit distracted that night after all. "Have you considered also doing DJing other places?"

"I get wanting to make your parents proud. Are you close to them? I mean it's important and the whole reason I became a cop was my father. I hope he would be proud." she says casually. "A nice guy named Stefhan, he owns the Hub. It's a little computer place. He really doesn't drink much, so I just want to keep a eye on him. He also says he gets very open when drunk, and he's trying to make things work with someone." pausing to put her own order in for steak fajita's and a corona. She's being responsible not having drunk before and this will likely be the only one. "Yeah I do like sex. It's fun and it feels good for everyone involved. Your pretty good at yourself." leaning over to offer another brief kiss, the further blush too cute to ignore. "Better late than never. And just look at all we have to do make up for lost time." tentatively reaching to attempt to hold Park's hand.

"I'll DJ wherever people want me to" Park enthuses. "I would even play solo if people want it...which is really not much different to me DJing. But there is the band to promote too, so trying to get that going too. Gosh, so much to do. Isn't that awesome! Who wants nothing to do?"

A shrug about her parents. "They live close if that counts" she giggles. "They love me, I love them, we don't need to show it all the time. I'm sure your father is very proud of you." Her smile sincere. "I would totally be." She nods along to talk of Stefhan. "So, he really likes someone but wants to bang everyone else too. That happens a lot around here. Everyone's a parrot love in Gray Harbor." She feels she may have to explain that. "Polyamorous. Get it. Polly the parrot."

A blush at the praise to her sexual expertise but she happily shares another kiss with Alisha. The tentative hand is taken and affectionately squeezed. After all they've done already, the sweetness of tonight is making Park smile happily. "There are more tricks you want to show me" she giggles.

Alisha nods "I just didn't know if it was time issue. Have you been offered any solo gigs? Always having something to do is nice." before a little chuckle "Nothing to do at least once in a while is good as well. Need some time to recharge."

"It's nice that you do love each other. It doesn't have to shown all the time, just knowing it's there." she says before getting a smile "Thanks. To both really. It's nice to know you would be." her smile boadrening. "Ah well he really doesn't but he has a real weakness for blondes. They just do it him I guess. Which it takes all types. I'm not generally attracted to hair color." she grins some at the talk of Polly the parrot. "I got it. Let's say I'm familiar with Polly the parrot already. And what it represents."

She gives a happy sigh after the kiss "Keep up that cute blush and I'll just keep kissing you." she teases a bit. Tenderness in times like these isn't something she is used to. It is something she thinks she could get used to. "Plenty more tricks. Not all of them can be done in public. Other things though, I'm full of suprises. I guess I could always sereande you. You'd get a chance to hear me sing that way." she says half-jokingly.

"No solo gigs offered yet. But when it gets warmer, I might go and do some busking on the Boardwalk. That could be fun. You could sing with me!" Park is getting excited again...but is she ever not excited? "The best way to stay charged is to stay plugged in."

"He's into blondes?" Park seems confused by this. "Why would you limit yourself like that? Oh well, whatever turns him on. The girl he's interested in is blonde, right?" A giggle, and blush, about Alisha's experience with Polly. "You must totally have lots of lovers. Boys and girls? I can't believe that they don't all follow you around all day and night."

The comment on her blush gets her blushing more. "I could always rouge up my cheeks more. 'Cause, you know, I don't mind being kissed all the time. Which tricks can you do in public? And you should totally sing to me. That would be soooo romantic." Their entrees are arriving. And drinks...Park went with a Coke No Sugar.

Alisha concerns the suggestion. "You are right it could be fun. Sure why not, if I'm not working we can totally sing together on the Boardwalk." she truly admires all the energy Park seems to have and just how upbeat. "I suppose, unwinding on the couch and watching a movie isn't always bad either."

She just shrugs "I don't honestly know. We all got our little quirks. Yeah a blonde named Faith. Who has a twin named Grace. Which lead to some confusion for him." shaking her head and chuckling. At the giggle and blush her lips curve back up into a smile "I've had my share of both. Rarely anything on a long term basis. One or two friends with benefits in the past." she talks about her experience "What about you? I bet you have more than few who are interested in the fantastic Mee. Men and women as well."

The further words and of course the blush. Lead her to lean in for surprise another kiss. Again a quick one, she doesn't want to get herself to worked up. "I don't think there is need for artificial blush." taking a sip from her beer and a look to the food. "Depends really. What sort of trick do you want to see?" setting the corona back down. She is secretly a romantic at heart and she really doesn't get the chance to show it. She does a quick voice warm up.

"Once a night my bedroom light. Bleeds out from inside my window. Eyes white, I keep out of sight. This city's just not pretty like it used to be." she sings "It's always a nightmare, it's never a dream. The promise we made to kill the days between. They live in the heartbeat and sleep til the light is gone. It's been so long. Feels like pins and needles in my heart. So long. I can feel it tearing me apart. To the bed the left unsaid. Crawl in from outside my window. Hands red and cold as the dead. A pity they're not pretty like they used to be." ending the half finished song and looking to Park to see her reaction.

"Yay! We'll call ourselves 'Busking Beauties'. That will be fun! I watch movies sometimes too. Like when the flu hit really bad last year. Nothing more healing than 'Xanadu'" Park giggles.

"Oh! I know Grace! That's Kim's girlfriend. The three of us spent some time in a hot tub not too long ago. She is very beautiful. Oh, yes, she did mention she had a twin. Gosh, they look so much alike? Wow...that would be dazzling to see them together" Park gasps before nodding. "Yes, men and women. More fun that way. Especially at the same time. Nothing serious though. It would be unfair on people since I'll be a pop star or something and have to keep touring the world."

"Show me a sexy trick you can do in public" Park shrugs before taking a sip of her drink. "Ooh! Are you going to sing?" She gives her full attention to Alisha's song, a bright smile throughout. When it is done, there are tears in her eyes. "That's so lovely. A bit spooky too but it is Halloween. You have a great voice. Gosh, you are so getting lucky tonight if you want to be."

"Busking Beauties has a certain ring to it. I like it. You bet it will be fun. Hhmm 'Xanadu'? Yeah the last flu session was rough. I don't think I really recall anyone who didn't get sick." Alisha says after she is done singing.

She taps a finger to her chin "So that's Grace's girl. She never mentioned the name. Oh was a fun time in the hot tub? You are right she is very beautiful. Yep they are identical. I haven't seen Faith, but I imagine that would be stunning together." nodding her head in agreement. "It is way more fun and at once is so nice. Of course too big a group makes it hard to keep track of at times. Perhaps it would be unfair. I guess that be a benefit of poly, others around when you had to go away." thinking about it some.

She nods to the request. Probably a cherry in the coke, she takes the stem to pop into her mouth. Moving her tongue around and takes the stem out all twisted in knots. "Tada!" she says with a grin. Looking at Park and seeing the tears she blushes deeply "Thanks. Spooky is my favorite type of music. It's a bit more on the romantic sides of songs like that. The way I look it, it's a song about a girl who had someone touch her heart and hasn't felt that way for a long time." she really can't physically blush much deeper. She would if she could. "Every day is Halloween. Sorry, a bit of gothic humor. And getting lucky, yeah that is something I'd like very much." getting a wide smile. Putting some of the sizzling fajita meat on her plate with a tortilla as well.

"Have you seen 'Xanadu'? With Olivia Newton-John and the Electric Light Orchestra? Such a fun film to watch when you're sick. Really gets the spirits going. That and 'Can't Stop the Music' with the Village People. Two of my favorites" Park enthuses. "But, yeah, that flu season sucked big time."

"Definitely fun in the hot tub. The more the merrier in there, right? But I understand about the large groups. Not knowing who has what in where with whom but that's all part of the fun. Why would you be in a hot tub with someone you didn't like?" Park logic at work. "You probably have way more lovers than me. I just blunder along being myself and hope that works. I don't know how to do romance or seduce anyone" she shrugs with a cute scrunching of her nose.

The stem knotting trick gets a gasp and then loud and enthusiastic applause that makes many others in the cafe turn their way. "Now I know how you could do that other thing with your tongue" she blush-giggles. "Aww...that sounds like a lovely story in that song. Don't worry, you're definitely getting lucky tonight. You could even get lucky now if you wanted. Though, really, luck has nothing to do with it. It's all your skill."

Alisha shakes her head "Can't say that I ever have. Maybe you'd like to introduce it to me at some point. So I can see for myself it can lift my spirits. What are some of your other favorite movies?"

She smirks at the more the merrier comment "Very true. Not saying large groups can't be fun, it's more of a once in a while thing. Glad you had fun. Grace is certainly very fun. Maybe another thing you can introduce me to. As far my favorite types horror yes, but leaning towards a mix of comedy and horror. Some Disney movies, a few Pixar as well, and fantasy movies."

"Thank you for the wonderful date" she grins before leaning over for a more passionate kiss than they've been sharing so far.
