My Mother is furiously redecorating with things that don’t remind her of my father. I’m doing my best not to question drinks you had out with Katherine because I think you are a good man. Considering perhaps I should do something other than work and help with family matters now that I have been back in town for four months.

(TXT to Lucas) Atli: Jealous? Never! Desiring of occupying your time selfishly? Perhaps. I don’t know what better could be expected of a woman in your orbit though.
With my father? Well that’s complicated. No honestly I don’t think I’ve dealt with it. It’s like I just keep waiting for him to come home, but he can’t. Do you ever notice anything strange or inconsistent in this town?

This town seems perfectly normal to me, but keep in mind, unlike the rest of you, I never left. I have lived her all my life, save a weekend excursion or two for games. Inconsistent? I mean I guess, it depends on what you mean. Inconsistency is just part of life right? I guess I am a bad one to ask on the subject.
If your dad does walk in, you call me ok? because I would be really worried....
(TXT to Lucas) Atli: You keep doing this thing where you make my heart skip with your words, but I cannot say I dislike it. I don’t think you’re a bad one to ask on anything, possibly that you just have less need to consider certain topics.
At the risk of sounding entirely paranoid...
I do not have a significant amount of first aid training but, your head is better. Katherine, locked your door. I’m sure you have dealt with some unexplained fires. There are pieces surrounding my Father’s death that are similarly off. I have to say I am surprised some! You have a bit of shine to you 😊

I mean unexplained fires are just par for the course, you know how many lightning strikes we get in a year? It's rather staggering, I guess its a lot higher then the national average, especially on clear days. But that is just Gray Harbor, you know?
Ellie is totally into all that conspiracy mumble jumble, keeps talking about dark shapes, and paranormal and how people have strange powers, she has always been a little off though.
(TXT to Lucas) Atli: I don’t disagree. I’m probably just stressed out from work. It seems like things are always breaking! Did you know we had a flood over Christmas? Sprinkler system malfunction.
Eleanor seems very sweet as well as happy. August would appear to be her light in the dark. As for you! It would seem you could have a future any time you wished in poetry. I don’t say this lightly, by standards are rather high.
(TXT to Atli) Lucas: Floods in the winter are the worst, the lead to freezing and then ice damage, and then more damage in the spring when it all thaws. The sucks. Was this the Addington house or your office? Your house is one of those beautiful old buildings that help define Gray Harbor I would hate to see major damage to it.
(TXT to Lucas) Atli: If I don’t tell you which, will you just come by to figure it out with an inspection as I shamelessly make you lunch and find excuses for you not to leave?
(TXT to Atli) Lucas: Would that be two separate inspections, or one? Do I need to schedule them for different days or make a single afternoon of it? I have a couple afternoons free this week. And the GRFD would be more then happy to do a favor for the Addington's and make sure such an important historical monument is up to code.
(TXT to Lucas) Atli: I am entirely sure there is enough to inspect that it would take up plenty of your valuable time, so I am grateful your employer would find it a worthy use. I will wholeheartedly trust your professional opinion on if two are needed. You do make me a tad light headed with all the heart skipping, I can’t actually remember which flooded anymore. 😉
