ICLY, Calla pays room and board to her elder sister Zinnia. The pair live very harmoniously at 9 Bayside Road in a lovely little 1880's era (heavily renovated) cottage. The pictures below are APPROXIMATIONS, of course. 🙂

A sweet, hippy-dippy woman who cherishes a simple, well-lived life. Now that her kids have long since left the nest, this amiable stay-at-home mother now finds herself wondering about her next chapter. Calla's mother Elfe is a fine hand at making homemade soaps and shampoos, either hard-set or liquid. She is crafty, but has no formal secondary education. Calla is especially close to her.
Calla's entrepreneurial father, from whom she inherited the 'early gray' gene. He is both an artist and a craftsman, and with his business partner (and best friend) he owns and operates a small-time artisan furniture shop -- (known as 'Woodstock') -- in the Oak area. He is a friendly, relaxed man with a fine work ethic.

Calla's elder sister by six years. Very successful, very forthright and confident. While she makes her money as a dietitian (employed typically in hospitals and care homes), her real passion is for gardening. Calla pays room and board to Zinnia, and the two live harmoniously and happily in the Bayside area.

Pansexual: No matter how you identify, Calla will find something attractive about you... and have no qualms with stating it. She is perfectly accepting of however you present yourself to the world... as long as you're not an asshole~
White as Snow: Thanks to a condition known as 'premature canities' manifesting in her early adolescence, Calla's hair is naturally grayish-white when not dyed. She is OK with this, but she remembers the trauma before getting to that point. She does not dwell, but this personal experience helps her help others in dealing with personal traumas and confidence issues.
Beautician: Calling upon her schooling, Calla is damned good at looking after peoples' beauty needs.. whether it's styling and coloring hair or handling makeup. She is also no slouch when it comes to waxing... and she doesn't ask questions!
Artist: Naturally! She's not just good at painting peoples' faces... Calla is also versed in the art of watercolor painting. She's even better at it when she's baked.
Sweet MJ: Calla is a recreational user of marijuana.. she loves to toke it; she loves it as an edible.
Looking at Calla Landis, one wouldn't suspect her of harboring crippling anxiety regarding her appearance roughly 6 years ago. Thanks to a bit of a bum move in the genetic lottery this young lady was stricken by a condition known as 'premature canities' .. ie: premature graying. It started at the beginning of her Sophomore year and by the time Calla graduated high school, her hair was near-white! Years of coming to terms with the situation and adapting have resulted in the woman standing before you. She looks confident; content, even.
That ultra-pale hair appears to have been masterfully colored and it changes every few months: cyan, violet, green, red? A mixture of 'em all? It's all fair game and this is how Calla has coped. The hair, despite being colored frequently in the span of a year, is healthy due to not having to bleach it for colors to take. She leaves it long and loose in a shock, hanging down just below her rib cage with the part falling in no set area of her scalp.
At 5'11", Calla is leggy and lean with slender limbs and a graceful way about her. Mildly tanned skin and green eyes complete her rather kind, approachable profile. Outside of work she favors comfortable, 'hippyish' clothing: things like palazzo pants and peasantry tops in the winter and/or flowing, vibrant dresses in the summer.
