A clear head, a heap of decency, and a solid dose of welcome for people who might be floundering. In this town, there are lots of people floundering.
We're both shy book loving types, so of course we get along well. He was the second friend I made when I stopped playing hermit. He's going to explode if he and Xavier don't just seal the deal already though.
When I finally lifted my head from my books he was one of the first friends I made. I find him easy to talk to. So easy, in fact, that it's hard to remember that there was a time I didn't really know how to talk to people.
Owner of the Broadleaf - Conner is the owner and manager of the Broadleaf. Are you one of his tenants? Are you interested in renting an apartment? He can help you out.
Raging Nerd - Any Townie would know this guy is a real big reader. He's in the library checking out something every week, he's in the bookstore buying two and three at a time, often on a variety of eclectic subjects, and there's a good bet all those Amazon boxes that show up at his own apartment in the Broadleaf are actually full of actual books too. If you need some odd or random research fact, this guy might actually be a decent one to ask.
Chess Enthusiast - Whenever there are local chess tournaments or casual game meet-ups, Conner is there. If you're a fellow enthusiast, there's a good chance you've at least met.
Glimmer - He's got it.
Eccentric Carousel Guy - For some weird reason Conner visits the Addington Park Carousel every couple of days. He goes around to each of the animals in turns, gives them little pats on the shoulder, asks them how they're doing and if they need anything, and occasionally touches up their paint. The actual caretaker of the park is a little grouchy about it but never actually chases him off.
H.O.P.E. Volunteer - Conner is often down at the H.O.P.E. center conducting various repairs.
Friend to Bugs - Conner is exceptionally gentle with crickets, spiders, voles, moths, fireflies and other small insects. He will go out of his way not to step on them. He is very gentle should he need to shoo any out of any apartment. In fact, his first play is now to ask them to move along nicely. This is probably normal, right?
