Got a job? Cricket is looking for one! Particularly an odd job or one-time gig! He wouldn't commit a crime knowingly, but lucky for you he doesn't pay much attention!
Something weird going on? Cricket just tends to show up! A job, a wandering, or just a stop to tie his laces: magnets go both ways.
Despite looks and profession, Cricket is an amateur student of the Odd. If you have something that people would show up to investigate or just snoop around, Cricket would too.
Cricket is "bright" to anyone that can sense it, and while knows that Bad Things are attracted to him, he hasn't really sussed out that Doing Bright Things gets Bad Things' attention. As a result, he can be a bit volatile to the paranormal world.
Socially, Cricket is known for being incredibly awkward and always earnest. The Pizza Kitchen has a bench with his buttprint in it at this point, and despite no high scores, he can often be seen on the old arcade machines. He also spends a lot of time at the museum, enjoying the exhibits without truly absorbing them.
The man stands at an easy 6'3, but seems to be often slouching or leaning. He's rail thin, with spindly limbs and no trace of noticeable body fat. His hair is deep brown, and would reach to his cheeks if not slicked back. Buggy blue eyes peep out from behind a pair of thick plastic-rimmed glasses, resting atop a sharp nose and high cheekbones. His lips are large and bow-shaped, oddly out of place on the rest of his bird-like face.
A baggy white T-shirt is draped over his frame, tucked into a pair of well-worn denim jeans and cinched off with a scuffed brown leather belt. Large Converse sneakers peek out from too-long pantcuffs, laces sometimes even tied.
