Lexie

Her parents and older brother are from Gray Harbor and left unexpectedly when she was too young to remember. Folks might remember them, or have heard rumors about why they left.
She wrote a semi-successful first novel, but it's been three years since that one, and it's rumored she only had the one in her.
She would be active on whatever extramural swim team might exist in the community.
She's still new at understanding glimmer and the Veil, and what she's learned, she learned in the last couple of months. People who helped her learn would be great.

There's nothing natural about the red of Lexie's hair. It clearly comes from a bottle, and it's the most obvious thing about her. It falls to just below her shoulders, and, when not straightened, hangs in waves that look messy at best. Her blue-grey eyes stand out all the more for the color of her hair, and although they are most often studious and serious, sometimes they make her seem mischievous and playful, especially when her full lips curl into a smile.

Her build is average, and she might not seem overly remarkable if it weren't for the confidence she carries with her, and a look that says she feels comfortable in her skin and body. Her curves are not pronounced, but on occasion she will dress to accentuate them, replacing her usual uniform of jeans, tank tops, button downs and scarves with a short dress or a tight skirt. Around her wrist, she always wears a silver bracelet, and there's a faint smell of vanilla that most likely comes from a shampoo rather than a perfume.
