Emergency Medicine - Nathan is an ER Doctor at Addington Memorial Hospital. More accurately, Nathan is one of the Emergency Physicians. He's all too used to poking, prodding, and asking deeply personal questions about what you've done to yourself. His list of 'foreign objects found in body cavities' is vast and extensive.

Whatever Floats Your Boat - Nathan has a regularly updated Instagram, filled with pictures of the latest canoe he's handcrafting. He's considered starting up a build channel on YouTube, but Tillie's only offered to lend any assistance if she gets at least three liquor cabinets out of it.

We Built This House - No, they didn't, but most of the wooden furniture in the Harlow-Bowman household is handcrafted.

Local - Nathan's Family has only been in Gray Harbor for two generations, but they're local enough for now. He inherited the house when his parents tragically and suddenly... retired to Idaho.

Nathan Bowman was born and raised in Gray harbor, his parents having moved to town soon after they wed. As much as the player hates to say it, it wasn't an interesting childhood. Nothing strange happened, no mysterious happenings or the like. The Bowmans were just... there. The background home owners far away from the main plots of the town's drama.

His father taught him that maybe a trade would be a good future, but drive, motivation and pretty damn stellar school results had him heading to UC Davis, flying the nest to get his Doctorate, completing his residency, ending up the furthest afield from Gray Harbor he'd ever get: St. Mary's Medical Center, San Francisco. Which also happened to be a few blocks down from the building in which one Tillie Harlow gave a lecture on possible adjustments to triage standards in both military and civilian capacities.

His car wreck an hour later, with her as a witness and the only one on the scene not crippled by the bystander effect went and made the two of them nigh inseparable. He wasn't aware of it at the time, and actually still isn't, but the fact he wasn't outright killed would be thanks to that tiny flicker of glimmer he has. He's completely unaware he uses it, he's got no idea that when aggressions start to flare his shielding of his wife is more than just natural.

And he has no idea what she can do.

Many years later, Nathan's parents decided it was time to retire, heading to a plot out in Idaho, leaving the house to their only son, now married. He's been back about a year, which is just enough time to get settled in.

But not enough time to finish building that deck in the back garden.

Blue-eyed, red of hair and fair of skin, Nathan usually carries himself like someone who just managed to tell a joke nobody else in the room is responding to, unassuming and generally compliant. He stands at about 6'0 square, lines edging his features as he creeps ever closer to 50. He's got a casual tone and a just-as-casual demeanor when not on call, usually dressed in comfortable jeans and a plaid shirt over another tee. When's he's at work, the hair is often styled, combed down and brushed back to put forward some notion of professionalism. When he's not at the hospital? Someone might just as well have ruffled a hand on the top of his head for twenty minutes.
