System Information
  • Parvati is surprisingly well trained with the use of whips. She can even do tricks!
  • Parvati is particularly good with the needle and thread- a Seamstress par excellence!
  • Parvati is well traveled, particularly in Asia.
  • Parvati is not yet aware of her glimmer
  • Parvati's surname is decidedly not of her native India. Odd.
  • Parvati's English is very obviously accented- it is not her native tongue.
  • Parvati's fashion line is known in some circles, but the designer is shrouded in mystery due to her penchant for having her wealthy clientele sign NDAs. Maybe you've seen her genius on the Red Carpet or High Society events?
  • Parvati was born in New Delhi India to an Indian Father and Iranian Mother. Parvati grew up speaking Farsi and Hindi in the home.

  • Parvati's family was well off, giving her ample opportunity to learn whatever skills she desired. Her father, fearing his daughter may face physical danger in India, ensured that from a young age she was taught to defend herself physically. Proud of his Indian heritage, he also wanted her to focus primarily on Indian styles.

  • By the time she's reached adolescence Parvati's interest in clothing becomes more apparent as she ages- she trains as a seamstress, and takes classes on design, artistry, and other similar skills to help her learn the trade.

  • After graduation, Parvati begins to travel- first between India, Iran, and Pakistan before widening her range to other places in Asia. She spends considerable time in China, enough to pick up some of the language and learn various native clothing styles. She does much the same in other Asian nations before turning her ambitions westward.

  • In her late twenties, Parvati spends some time in Europe, using England as her home base. Although not quite fluent, her English progresses to where she can carry most conversations without too much issue. It is around this time that Parvati begins to sell her designs, albeit on a small commission only basis. Although she makes clothing for the wealthy by commission, she prefers to stay out of the limelight, and most items sold are done so with a wink and a nod to keep the designer's privacy in mind.

  • After some time in Europe, Parvati decides to move again- this time to somewhere in the United States. She bums around, selling clothing and her skills as she goes. While in the United States she continues her education in martial arts- albeit with the American forms of the whip. She delights in it's flexible nature, and dedicates herself to learning this unique weapon.

  • Parvati, against the wishes of her parents, elopes with another woman by the name of Lais Deloria, taking her surname. The marriage is, unfortunately, short. as Parvati's wife dies only half a decade into their relationship. She does not speak of this to many.

  • Something- and Parvati cannot say what, exactly, draws her towards the west coast. To Gray Harbor- where she decides she'd like to set up shop, finding the surroundings 'oddly charming'.

Parvati is a tall, willowy woman of Indian features. At six foot, one inch tall she carries herself with a regal grace borne of impeccable posture and a well practiced lack of emotion settled on her face.

She is clearly athletic, with narrowish shoulders leading to arms that feel rather long. A thin, toned midsection that flows into wider hips to connect to willowy, long legs.

Parvati is always well dressed in clothing of her own design. She is fond of suits, and long dresses and can be found wearing any number of often ambitious pieces of clothing she's produced with her own hands.
