Rusty

• Local: Rusty has been here since he was a tot. He was raised by his late Aunt June. Class of 1992 in the house? No?

• Asylum Patient: A frequent flyer upstate, he seems to be relatively well adjusted. In public, at least.

• Lost Years: Going in and out of the asylum has wrecked Rusty's memory. Almost 30 years worth of time is fuzzy with spots of his time on the outside and if he's being honest, the older he gets, the less clear his time back home is.

• Fought the Law. Law Won: When he wasn't upstate, he usually spent much of his time getting into trouble with the law. Acting out, they called it. Raging at an unjust world, Rusty called it. The police usually called it disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace or drunk in public.

• Internet Famous: If you roll in the online occult circles, you might know him by his handle. (Handle Name Pending) He has a weekly podcast and an active Twitter. The bulk of his content is hot takes on whatever spooky flavor of the week is happening.

• Huckleberry Mobile Homes: Home sweet home. He's pretty quiet but lets the outside overgrow and is hard pressed to change it. Keeps to himself.

• Computer and Electronic Repair: He'll gladly charge you a small fee to run Malwarebytes on your computer and eat your food. But seriously? He can actually fix things.

Rusty is a middle aged, wiry sort of man, he stands at about five foot, ten inches and tends to slouch. He's on the lean side of average in build with taut muscles under lightly tanned skin. His voice is gruff but soft spoken, rarely raising his voice needlessly. This adds up to a man who may come across as less than intimidating, possibly diminutive.

He has chestnut hair that brushes his shoulders. It's grown into long, shaggy layers that are parted off-center leaving long bangs that hang into slanted, deep-set, and stark blue eyes. A streak of white-gray interrupts those long bangs. At about the width of two fingers, it's noticeable among his otherwise dark hair. He makes no effort to hide it. His hair is long enough to be pulled back at the top, something he seems to like to do on occasion. His mouth, which tends to set into the slightest of frowns, is surrounded by a neat, graying goatee.

Most likely, one will find him wearing a soft and faded t-shirt in dark colors, if not featuring a band or tour. He pairs it with relaxed fit jeans and a pair of black work boots that might be older than him. They are worn but well loved and cared for. He is known to wear a pair of classic Ray-Ban wayfarers sunglasses either on his face or perched at the top of his head.
