It's disconcertingly like walking into an Architectural Digest spread. Easy to imagine the glossiness of the theoretical page as one looks around, that same sense of just enough imperfection to seem like a place an actual human might live. Ebony hardwood floors contrast dramatically with crisp white walls in the bright and airy space, the large windows and corner location flooding the living room with as much natural light as the PNW is ever likely to provide. From this height, that ocean view is perfect, and even better seen from the balcony beyond the large French doors.
The most immediately striking piece of furniture is the sofa, white cushions set against dark wood and backed by a strikingly organic and asymmetrical slice of maple root burl, but everything here is sleek and either artisan-made or an exemplar of its class.
