The older homes on Bayside are small, beachfront cottages accessed by narrow driveways that slice up through the hills. The less expensive houses have obstructed views and are closer to town. More expensive homes are farther from Gray Harbor, and their driveways are longer, leading to better views along the ridge. These may break from the typical architecture, some having been constructed according to the exacting demands of their eventual owners. The lots here are too steep for most to have proper yards, but they all typically have manicured landscaping.
