The Broadleaf sits at 1165 Sycamore. It is a clean, well-maintained older four-story building boasting three floors of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments, with a community room and laundromat on the first floor. The exterior is brownish brick and paler stone, built into a squat rectangular structure. The large double doors allow anyone into the small entry, where a bank of mailboxes and an intercom rest to buzz residents.

Inside, an elevator and stairwell both offer ways upstairs to the apartments themselves. The decor is fairly modern, although inexpensive. The community room boasts a large dining table for parties, window seats, a television, and a fireplace. The laundromat also has vending machines.
