It would be difficult to find a downtown more quaint than Gray Harbor.
Here, there are no sky-high 'scrapers, no metal masterpieces, not even a snazzy fountain or a modern piece of art. Instead, the buildings that line the streets are made of brick and mortar, some with wood siding fronts and some without. The sidewalks are well-maintained along with the roads, the latter of which loop in a grid-like fashion up one hill and down another. The structures are an eclectic mix of businesses and homes, some often serving both purposes at once.
This is the kind of neighborhood that gives a sense of security, of peace and calm, even with the gray skies that typically dominate the little city.
