There are two ways into the shop, both glass storefront doors, one leading straight out to the street, and one into the rest of the Bauer Building lobby. Stepping in, it’s immediately apparent by the absolute wall to wall peg boards of hanging keys and lock accessories what sort of shop this is. There’s a small counter for ringing customers out that can be stepped around before heading into the back where the real magic happens. There are multiple counters, workbenches with cutting machines, grinders, vices, and every sort of kit needed for fitting and maintaining locks. There are multiple offices down another hallway, one a bit larger with a multi-monitor display and headset enabled phones for dispatchers, one for filing and clerical work, and one obviously for the owner himself.
There is usually someone at the front counter when a customer arrives, a faint chime alerting them of entries in case they’re working in the back.
