This is a large area, open area with a double tall bare ceiling, upon switch fans spin on a low setting while sun roofs allow for natural lighting to pass through and provide natural lighting during day light hours. Beyond the main entrance, where beautiful bodied reception makes sure people are logged in properly either as members or guests, or are just available to answer questions and answer phones, the gymnasium has been divided into multiple areas for different types of workouts.
To the right of the main doors are three offices, the larger one having been made from two smaller offices. The smaller of the offices are where the personal trainers go over work out plans with their clients, making sure they're maximizing their returns, and go through the paper work with new members. The largest of the two offices might be for the manager. In the far back are two doors, each identified with a masculine and feminine sign to indicate changing rooms for either gender.
The floor is thin carpet, until past reception where it is all matting, either hard for machines to rest on, or softer for feet. The gymnasium has been divided into several areas, one classroom sized area for private classes, perhaps for Tai Chi, Yoga or Pilates. Cardio machines, treadmill and elliptical, line in front of one of the main bank of windows, so passersby can see people working out inside at all hours. Nearby are the high step and stair mill machines, as well as stacked multi-colored plastic steps, for work on flexibility. Balance boards and stability balls reside close to those machines with enough space to utilize them. By the changing rooms, the largest space of all is devoted to strength training. Horizontal seated leg press, lat pull-down, cable bicep bar, triceps pushdown, chest press, hanging leg raise and even a rowing machine among another machines all surround the multiple free weights which are almost always in use during the day.
