Unit 204
Large windows dominate one wall of this apartment, looking out into the downtown streets below. Black and gold curtains, with art deco designs hang along the same wall, typically pulled back during the day to allow free flow of light and nicely complimenting the Bauer Building's historic (and restored) fixtures.
The apartment itself is largely an open plan, with only a well appointed bathroom and a particularly large walk-in closet having proper doors to separate the space. The bedroom is kept private by ceiling mounted reclaimed wood dividers that fold upward or downward (not unlike an accordion fold) to create privacy for Parvati with but the push of a button. The divider's themselves are lined in white fabric, spaces in the wood taking a traditional Persian, floral design.
The kitchen is a classic galley design along the wall furthest from the entry, featuring modern fixtures and appliances. A table large enough to sit eight people comfortably divides the kitchen from the common area, which features a large, plush leather sofa and a pair of double-wide recliners on either side. A coffee table and side tables sit where one would expect for proper placement of snacks and refreshment. The chairs and sofa face the windows, which are typically unobstructed. That is, unless the rolled projector screen is summoned down to allow for entertainment.
The house carries a few scents- sandalwood and leather perhaps the most obvious, hints of cloves, and a touch of anise.
