Located at the far end of the Strip Mall is the Suds'-N-Duds' Laundromat. The exterior has recently been remodeled and now boasts a retro flair. The sidewalk right outside has been painted bright white with a vintage-style, pastel blue bench placed in front of the building. The entire front is glass windows, with one glass door for entry. The rest of the exterior is painted in bright, pastel colors. The metal awning is painted with bright pink and lavender blue stripes. and sea green. Hanging upon the window next to the door is a bright green neon sign that says OPEN. The middle window has another bright green sign, informing customers that there is an ATM inside. At the other end of the building, a banner hangs proclaiming FREE WIFI in pastel blue.
Inside, the retro motif continues. The floor is made of cream colored laminate. Overhead, fluorescent lights line the ceiling, a few here and there that seem to start flickering in the evening. The walls are painted in bright colors. The right side is painted bright green. The back wall is painted a vibrant magenta pink. The left wall is painted a happy shade of sunshine yellow. The front, above and below the windows, are painted a vivid shade of pastel blue. The ceiling, on the other hand, is a plain white, making the colors stand out even more. Placed against the front windows are a row of powder blue, vintage style plastic chairs, and against the right wall is a formica topped desk area for an attendant. The ATM is right beside it.
The rainbow style also is applied to the washers and dryers. The first half of the bright green wall is taken up by a row of older model, front loading washers. Each one is painted a different color. Some are sweet pastel pink, others are soft sea green and a couple are pastel green and calm orange. The other side of the wall is taken up by two rows of front loading dryers. Some are white, some are pale pink and some are soft blue. The dryers are industrial sized and have a slot for quarters on the top by the knob and the red start button. In a row in the center of the room, back to back are somewhat newer washing machines, off-white in color, with eight slots open for quarters. In two corners of the room are formica topped tables for folding clothes. A few rolling baskets are lined up nearby for the transferring of the clothing from one machine to the other.
Against the magenta back wall are a few dark blue plastic chairs. Next to them is dispenser selling soap, stain remover, fabric softener and color safe bleach. A entryway leads to a back area, which serves as a refreshment area for customers and a break room for employees. Back there is a vending machine for snacks and another for juices and soft drinks. There is also a bulletin board with different business cards tacked on as well as other small advertisements from individuals.
