Vivid Dreams Art Gallery

When one enters the area, one can easily see the delightful cafe inspired establishment that has a bit of an eclectic, yet elegant look. The walls are made of rust colored paneling that appears to support the room and gives the area a very sturdy appearance. The ceiling tiles are a lighter shade and within them are unique imprints that make the area more unique looking. Yet to contrast and compliment the walls and ceiling are various paintings from Monet, van Gogh, and Thomas Kincaid. Other paintings from less known artists adorn the walls as well. The artwork is distributed in such a way to bring attention to the myriad of framed colors that breathe life into this location. Many scenes are of nature, others are of beautiful women, and one may even notice a few Pre-Raphaelites here and there.

So that people can admire the art at a close view, a variety of tables and chairs are placed in a neat fashion on the floor. There are at least six tables, some larger than the others and beneath them are seats made out of sturdy wood, perhaps oak. It appears as if the owner has spent a lot of money to furnish the place, as if the intent was to have a bit of a peaceful looking museum. This place is a gallery though and it’s simply not large enough to be a landmark. The top of the tables themselves are made of different types of smooth wood, which further compliments the furniture. At the top of each table are either fresh flowers that are delivered daily, or lights that make good centerpieces. When flowers are showcased, every glass vase has various types of roses which give the tables a lovely, romantic scent.

Also, there are additional exits leading into other areas of the building. One appears to be locked most of the time, perhaps indicating that behind this door is something more private. Then another door sports the name 'restroom' as if offering those who enter a place to relieve themselves. As far away from the restroom door as there can be sits another area of the gallery. Here is a moderately sized kiln setup for baking pottery and a collection of chairs and easels where patrons and express their creativity in fun ways. All in all, Vivid Dreams seems to be a charming place where people and express art on their own terms. Now and then, the fragrance of wine may also be smelled, giving the location a bit of an elegant appeal. However, no bottles of alcohol are easily seen. Perhaps one needs to ask for special libations?
