The basement of the old foursquare has concrete floors with a few throw rugs to walk on. There are old cabinets along the wall of the area which also contains the washer and dryer, a folding table, and a laundry sink. All are old but serviceable. There's a small room with shelves in it that used to clearly be to hold canned goods.
The other half of the basement has the furnace, water heater, and storage space. It has a card table and chairs under the light of a bare bulb, with a mini fridge, microwave, and a bin of cups, plates, and plastic utensils on a 6 foot folding table.
