Starlight Theaters

The old Gray Harbor Auditorium Halls preserved and renewed. A above the old wedge marquees, displaying both current and classic movie titles with times, star showers are lit in bright gold and silver led. At the point of the wedge the animated display climbs skyward, with a starburst in bright silvery colors, and the simple name Starlight running up the middle of it.

In addition to the main parking lots, there is another stationed to the left hand side of the building, with glare reducing blinders mounted around a drive-in screen that uses most of the side of the converted auditorium building. A series of ordered parking rows are set up, with posts holding speaker boxes to set up within one's vehicle. The parking area is designed with two entry and two exit points with the entries having ticket purchase kiosks being manned.

Drive-In:

The Starlight Drive-In is a spectacle recreation of the fifties style, with modern adjustment to enhance the experience. Glare blockers are mounted to help keep the screen bright and clear with no outside interference, and the position of the parking area keeps viewers from being flashed by passing headlights as well.
The speaker posts are set with shields to block against rain, or snow, and each spot has the ability to draw up two speakers for full surround sound. A kiosk, with a full awning, is open below the screen, to allow movie goers to get concessions without having to go inside, and smaller screens show what is playing, with sound, to help keep from missing the movie.
The lot is designed with two entry drives, with swing arms to block entry without a ticket, which can be purchased at manned kiosks. The exit gates have similar swing arms, but operate by sensor so that cars leaving trigger them, but not cars trying to 'sneak in'.

Lobby:

The theater lobby is grand, with original red carpeting and gold runners leading from the ticket booths to concessions and theater doors. The ceiling is gold leafed and patterned as it was decades ago with images of the night sky, complete with twinkling stars, over the heads of those within the lobby.

Theaters:

The theaters at the Starlight are modified forms of the old auditorium stages of the hall. Stage floor to ceiling screens are mounted, going from edge to edge of the grand stages. Sound systems have been hidden but positioned to utilize the acoustics to their fullest and the grand gold ceilings with murals of Gray Harbor in the fifties have been restored in full.
