21 Oak Avenue

It's the sort of home that has housed many generations and has seen many changes over the years since the town was first built. There have been a few expansions within the confines of the lot on which it sits, creating a kind of home that has a small maze of rooms and twisty staircases in unexpected places. The main floor is homey, with a comfortable living room with a warm fireplace, a kitchen that gets good light in from the tiny back yard, and a dining room large enough to sit a big family together. Laundry and a root cellar, and rooms dedicated to the more occult practices of the family are located on the lower level where it is cool and quiet.

There are a smattering of bedrooms on the first floor as well as a guest room, with the rest of the bedrooms on the upper levels and an attic room at the top that remains locked the majority of the time. The decor is a kind of mix of revolutionary war era, Victorian, and modern, with little care seeming to be given to unify any of it. The house exists in a kind of jumbled collection of the comforts of its current residence, and remains of its history.
