Bayside College is mostly missed by anyone that doesn't live in Gray Harbor. Situated on the very edge of town limits on Bayside Road, it wouldn't take much distraction to miss the dozen-building campus nestled off the east side of the roadway. It is a grouped and eclectic collection of a buildings, ranging from older brick to newer concrete-and-glass styles, and even includes several Morton buildings for seasoning. It wouldn't be a college campus without the five main buildings, the athletic center, the library, the student center and the "Bishop Center for the Performing Arts" (which is always even pronounced in quotes, for that is how the Professors in that building address the structure. Every. Time). Since this is Gray Harbor, there is even a building dedicated strictly to the time-honored pursuit of the mechanical and greasy arts, constantly lit up by the blue-white stuccato fire of welding training.
All in all, it is a campus that one could stroll across in five minutes, crisscrossed by sidewalks that make no sense, meandering through pine trees that are stuck here, too. The only redeeming quality is that Bayside is a tiny little campus that boasts accreditation, which opens up funding for student aid, which likely doubles their attendance in this down-trodden area. The diploma offerings here are just as miniscule as the small campus, giving out Associate's degrees primarily in forestry and business.
