The Platinum Cabaret, its name aside, is a fairly modest place. Newcomers first pass through a cashier and ID check area, where bouncers elect to pat down some of the more unsavory types. The centerpiece of this strip club is the stage, consisting of a catwalk adorned with a single pole. Several fabric-lined, utilitarian seats line the rail, allowing patrons to tip the lucky entertainer. Set back from the stage are more comfortable, plush, faux-leather chairs and tables. The far wall is lined with a fully-stocked long bar, able to accommodate about a dozen patrons at any given time. A small DJ booth sits immediately adjacent to the stage, and the ceiling is equipped with what appears to be a strobe light, laser lights, and a smoke machine. A thin door to the side of the bar is simply marked 'Office,' while a neon sign across from the DJ booth announces the 'VIP Area,' with black velvet curtains concealing what lies beyond.
