The Waffle Shoppe

Warm and homey. The carpet is utilitarian, a deep dark red while the tables, counters and fixtures are mahogany and brushed copper. The Waffle Shoppe is on the edge of town, open 24 hours, and offers all sorts of waffles and other breakfast concoctions during those 24 hours. You name it, they've likely got it. The service is great, the cook loves their job and the food is amazing. The coffee is iffy sometimes, but most times it's good. A little strong but good. The restaurant specializes in breakfasts, pecan waffles, belgian waffles and other foods, hash browns, bacon, sausage links and patties, french toast and any number of things the imagination can think up. In the afternoon and evening they have lunch and dinner specials such as meatloaf with sides, steak and steak fries, and numerous other items that are cooked to perfection.

Seating is a single bar style counter for solo eaters, a few tables dotting the center floor and booths around the edges. Each table and booth is lit dimly by a small lantern on each table, keeping the intimacy for the patrons.
