Historical Society

What used to be Gray Harbor's first post office has been recommissioned as the offices of the Gray Harbor Historical Society. The original building dates back to the 1890s, shortly after the town's official incorporation. It's a one-level brick structure, not the prettiest building, but it's nicely furnished on the inside. The walls are exposed brick, and the hard-wood floors have been nicely restored. The interior is divided into a few rooms of purpose: a reception area in the front with plenty of pamphlets about local history and places to visit, a few offices in the back, and a small meeting room. The furniture is mostly antique, all lovingly restored, and there are multiple placards situated throughout to call out the contribution of various donors.
