A pair of functional, attached buildings, the cop-shop and firehouse in Gray Harbor really ought to get separated. But where's that money going to come from? So they still share the same grounds to this day, and it's harried. The central foyer houses an overworked receptionist, who directs people to the left for the fire station and the right for the police station.
The firehouse is a two-story building with a garage on the ground floor, and offices and a lounge space for the firemen upstairs. The police station is also two stories, with the ground floor mainly consistent of a locker-room, some desk space, and a handful of holding cells. The upstairs is mostly interrogation rooms and desks for the detectives.
