In the early days of Gray Harbor history, upon this land sat a one-roomed schoolhouse where all the children would attend. It's grown through the years, and eventually the wooden structure was demolished in order to put a brick and mortar on the land instead. The school was renamed in the early 1900s, after the brutal deaths of the Addington family in the park nearby. According to the plaque fitted to the wall next to the front door, the school stands 'In Memorium of Teddy S. Addington, gone too soon.'
Today, the high school has grown just enough to support the town population. It includes several classrooms, a library, and a gymnasium where basketball games are highly popular.
