A-Frame 13

The interior of the A-frame cabin is arranged shotgun style, sloping walls coming to a point above. The living-dining room makes up about a third of the 36' cabin, the ceiling here high. Behind that is an efficiency style kitchen with a small range and storage shelves, ceiling here capped a bit higher thanks to a balcony above, which houses the second floor closets and sleeping area which overlooks through, at the back of the cabin, a floor to ceiling window with a view of the lush Sitka spruce and pines that make up this edge of Firefly Forest. The arrangement of each cabin gives the illusion of privacy, though the cabins aren't spectacularly far apart. There's enough wooded land here act as something of a screen, so while one might hear trouble at a neighbors place, general living sounds are well and truly muffled.

The interior is done in warmly varnished woods, black-painted steel beams and railings on the balcony, some reclaimed and locally sourced floor planks. A small porch serves as an entry to the cabin.
