When the text comes in from Aidan it takes her a minute to get to the phone, but then a smile spreads across Baylee's face, a few responses are considered, discarded, revisited, wording flipped around and changed until she settles on the answer.

What was that answer? Well a yes, of course. But then she adds a quick 'give me 20'.

That phone gets tossed onto the counter, and then Baylee turns her attention back to finishing what she was doing, having taken a quick trip to get it since she hasn't been able to find anything around here, so far. The little round mirror is dingy with the light film of the powder, and has one final line stretched out on it. A big boss line. And it is glorious, and Baylee is almost reluctant to do it, "Maybe....I should save it."

But who does that? She laughs, careful to not accidentally lose any of the cocaine with the sound. Then she picks up the small cut up straw tucking it into one nostril before she leans over to quickly snort the line, her head lifting upwards and tilting back, shuddering just a bit as the cocaine tainted drainage hits her throat. There's a quick sniff, then she starts to clean up any stray bits on the mirror, humming to herself before she rubs the residue against her gums. The mirror gets tossed back onto the table before she gets up, heading towards the bed room.

Shoes first. Then outfit.

Or maybe outfit first, then shoes. Does it matter? Probably won't end up wearing either for more than a few minutes to an hour anyways.

"Fuck it...I know." Baylee informs the air, because talking to herself is just a thing that is happening, and she moves to grab a pair of heels, tossing them onto the bed before heading to the bathroom. The shower is turned on and she quickly gets out of her clothes, steps in beneath the still cool water and begins to take a fast shower. Twenty minutes isn't nearly as long as she wanted, not now that she's planning to shower.

But there is a solution to that. Shower, hair washed, and then out she goes to towel dry and then she digs out moisturizer, makeup, jewelry, damp hair twisted up and pinned into place with a pair of slender wooden hair sticks. By the time the makeup has been finished she's humming an off-key song to herself, every once in a while a word mid-sentence gets added to the mix, then she's back to humming as she heads for her closet.

The red one? No...maybe blue. Four longer coats are chosen, and each is pulled from the closet to be tried on in front of a mirror. Baylee turns herself to one side, checking herself from each angle with each one of the coats on before she settles on the yellow and green paisley one, then she grabs the heels, pulling them on as well. One last minute check is made before she heads for the door, turning off all the lights on her way out.

It's not a far trip from her trailer to Aidan's, which is probably a good thing as the winds in the storm start kicking up and the only thing she's wearing is a coat that could start fluttering in that wind. When she gets to the door she knocks, and then waits. "Aidan?"

No answer. "Are you in the fucking bathroom?" It's probably a rude question to be shouting at a door while still standing outside, but there she is, shouting. "I warned you what I'd do if this ever happened."

But she doesn't rust the door to get herself in, instead she shoves her shoulder against it, then kicks the bottom half with the heel of one foot to pop the lock. There's a click, and she's shoving her way into the trailer to push the door closed behind her. What she finds is amusing...and then worrisome. Candy all over the place, every sign that Aidan was settled in for a comfortable night.

But no Aidan.
