<FS3> Minerva rolls Mental: Good Success (8 8 7 6 5 5 4 4 4 3 1)

When you are a Mentalist like Minerva is, taking care of animals is one of the easier things in life. To put it simply, animals are easier to handle than humans. And right now Minerva is overjoyed to have puppies in the apartment.

Atilla and Beetlejuice aren’t so thrilled with the gangly abominations. Their judgy little spiders eyes keeping track of the puppies as they wander back and forth with one of their toys. The apartment looked like a toddlers warzone, but it was all dog toys and beds for the new inhabitants.

Azrael, the all black puppy had been a no brainer, Minerva couldn’t part with him. She’d almost not given him to Gideon when he wanted to check him out, but she did. He didn’t want to keep the puppy. Which was good. He was now playing tug of war with a rope toy and trying his best to keep things from getting the best of him.

Dumah had been the wildcard. Hank had claimed the last puppy and she was glad that all of them found homes quickly. But Hank told her that the wife had said no when she got home from work. There wasn’t any hard feelings and to be honest, Minerva could handle two puppies.

Dumah was the beautiful beige color with the big black muzzle. He was being the laid back one of the due, but Azrael would drag him into playing. As brothers are want to do.

It was nearing midnight though and Minerva had things to do in the morning. And the puppies looked like they were winding down. So she drug herself from the couch finally after nothing on Prime looked interesting.

“Az, Dum (pronounced Doom), lets go to bed. We’ll get your leashes and things fitted in the morning before taking you out for a walk.” she grins at them as she starts heading for the ‘bedroom’. She kicks her slippers off and then pats the bed, “Alright. Everyone in!” she grins.

The puppies go tromping towards the bed and then jump up, only to miss the mark. Minerva has to help them both up and into the bed. Thankfully they wouldn’t shed like crazy until the weather got colder. Not like Minerva cared. She wasn’t having anyone over and in bed anyways.

When she slips into bed the boys take little time in curling up near her. There’s a smile given to them as she snuggles into her pillow and tries to sleep.

She was content.
