The longer Erin was in the hospital the longer the to-do list got. After everyone left that morning she was left to her own devices the rest of the day.
Oh she could leave now, especially after the wonders Lilith had done in healing her but she was still sore. Her body had just been dealt so much trauma.
Other than that, there's no way she was returning to her apartment. Especially with it being a crime scene currently.
Her phone is out along with an old fashioned phone book opened on her lap to the yellow pages.
Decorators.
She had her own ideas how she wanted her new house but she places the call anyway. Otherwise it wouldn't get done.
Ring. Ring.
"It's always a beautiful morning at Seahaven Home Decor, this is Patricia how may I help you?
Erin spends about forty-five minutes to an hour on the phone with Patricia, describing what it is she wants for her new house being very specific, down to the colors of everything and what fabrics for which window covering or furniture covering. The flooring would be fine, get paintings from local artists for decorations. It cost extra but she got it all expedited. 24 hours. Perfect.

Movers
Flipping through the yellow pages she knows rent-a-truck was out. Something catches her eye though,,
3 Men and a Truck
It looked promising. They could move and supply the truck and they were local.
She had friends who had trucks but she dare not inconvenience them. They all seemed so busy and while her life was put on hold currently, while she was stuck in here, she was aware everyone else had their own going on out there.
Another conversation, this one only twenty minutes, she manages to get them lined up for that very day. Impressive! Things were working out.
Check.
Pool Care
It was only a tiny one with a hot tub. The pool needed cleaned and covered for the winter while the hot tub needed cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. Because she had no idea what was done in that thing before. Pretty gross to think about.
Dan the Poolman
Very brief conversation, credit card info given and within 6 hours it would be taken care of.
Impressive! (Groogle Review Pending - depending on how clean she finds it.)
Check.
Security Systems
Erin didn't want to have to depend on others.
Again, they had busy lives.
After looking through the phone book she doesn't find anything interesting.
But she does recall a conversation had between Byron and Geoff.
Geoff could do security.
Damn.
That would be depending on someone.
--Call anyway--
--A text sent instead:--
--Could you give me a call at your convenience. I'd like to ask you about security systems.--
--Hey Geoff, it's Erin. I was just wondering if you could help me out.--
--Any chance I could get some advice on security systems--
The last one wasn't so bad but out of the blue? After what happened to her?
It would just made her look like she was looking for sympathy or to somehow let him know what happened when she deliberately hadn't told him.
God she was a mess.
ADT
Half an hour conversation spoken with a man she couldn't understand from a foreign country she couldn't pronounce.
But somehow there was an appointment for a person to come over the next day.
Check?
Appliances
This one was easy. She'd already ordered them. Just had to let them in to set them up.
Call Conn's Appliances.

Setup and Delivery tomorrow morningish.
Check.
Feeling like she had at least a few things accomplished, she puts away the list that was nowhere near finished.
She had put a dent in it though!
Stifling a yawn she glances around the room warily to make sure she was alone.
No invisible knife wielding great uncles.
That she could see anyway.
Another yawn and she tugs the pillow in close to herself.
A last check of her phone to look for texts. None. It's placed aside.
Sleep came easy this time. Her body still had some healing to do.
The pillow is clung to and she rests her cheek against it as she sleeps.
