Minerva is home from visiting the Exorcist with the rest of the group and the woman feels like she needs to have a cigarette herself, but she forgoes the urge. She’s pulling out books from the floorboards as she takes out a few books that might hold what is needed.

“We’re going to find something or I’ll die trying.” she whispers to herself. “Wait, better not say that or we’re going to end up really dead.” she adds. She wasn’t sure what was going to be needed, but she was going to piece something together that would fit.

Something that might draw William out of Thomas, but then what do they do? Would he be peaceful when he figures out they were going to bury him? Would he freak out if he figured out he'd not be able to make his number?

That was something they'd have to figure out.

It was hours going through things. Reading over the rituals and trying to not overload her brain. It was not something that was easily put together. Words were important, so was the symbolism.

Would William really give a shit about anything that they had put together?

Probably not.

But Minerva was going to work as hard as she could to get the right ritual to go along with things. Her phone rang around midnight, thankfully it was the person that she needed, “I need holy water. The real stuff. I don’t care if it’s blessed by the Vatican or the local parish. But I need it quick.” she tells them. “And yes, I’m tired. I’m needing to do a rite and I think it’s going to be rough.” she tells the voice on the other end of the phone.

Minerva goes to lay on the couch while the conversation goes on, “I’ll be coming with mom and dad in a few weeks. I need to make sure that things here are settled and no one is going to be dying.” she murmurs. “And I’ll rest when we get this crisis over. Going to spend some time in a god damn tent in the middle of nowhere if things go any further down the drain.” she adds.

The rest of the conversation is not really anything grand, just putting together things. “Yalla, nedaber makhar.” Minerva states finally as the conversation comes to a close.

The woman then goes to kneel in the sigil of ameth that she has. She lets her head fall a little and then she starts to pray in Hebrew.

I Shebeirach avoteinu v’imoteinu, Avraham, Yitzchak v’Yaakov, Sarah, Rivkah, Rachel v’Lei-ah, hu y’vareich et hacholim Alexander, Isabella, August, Ruiz, Erin, Byron, Hyacinth, Itzhak, Lilith, Rebecca and Vyv. HaKadosh Baruch Hu yimalei rachamim aleihem, l’hachalimam ul’rapotam ul’hachazikam, v’yishlach lahem m’heirah r’fuah, r’fuah shleimah min hashamayim, r’fuat hanefesh ur’fuat haguf, hashta baagala uviz’man kariv. V’nomar: Amen.

Yes, Minerva prayed for people dealing with The Ghoul, because it was the only thing that was keeping her centered at the moment.
