Rumors about needing bands at the bar has reached some people. Most likely several bands checking out the place. While it is most likely always busy here, it might be more than that nowadays. Among them is Ico, who is relaxing and having a look around, having sent for his bandmates, if they want to join in. For now the drummer is sitting at the bar with a bottle of beer. Humming a bit to himself. Relaxing and trying to not be in the way for others.

Lyric comes in only a moment later. She'd stayed to check out the lower portion near the beach. "Guys, the set up of this place is.. wow. I mean really. Wow. I've been here before but never as part of a band looking for somewhere to play." She dances through the tables to have a seat at the bar and order herself a beer. "I think if I could play drums I'd take my sticks everywhere I went, tapping them on everything. Just for the sounds."

Scott smiles as he steps inside, grinning as he moves over towards the others. "It looks quite nice, yes. I sort of wish I could just roll in a piano and start playing right now, you know..." It's offered with a grin, as he orders himself a beer as well. "Awesome place."

Ico grins and nods, "I have, it's nice. Hope the sound and such is as well." He suggests, shrugging some. As for bringing his sticks along, he chuckles. "Oh, I often do. But at times I just drum with my hands. I do keep some sticks in my backpack or messenger bag." And they all probably know that he goes through a lot of drumsticks. Waving towards Scott as well when he comes over. "Well, you can always bring your tablet. Better than nothing." He suggests and grins. Since the others got around to ordering before he was able to order something for them, he just waits for them to get some before toasting with the bottles. "Hope things go our way here then."

"In your Murse," Lyric teases him playfully. "Your man purse." Her beer is delivered and she pays for it before taking it and turning to face outward towards the room. She toasts with them, "Now, we need a name. Has anyone got ideas? I mean there's a name that's not a band it's Augmented Reality. I saw it and though it was cool. There's Sacred Chronicles too. But not sure it's band feeling, either of them. What do you guys suggest?'

"While there's some good music apps for the tablet, some things need the classic touch," Scott replies rather lightly. "Right now, I'm more in the mood for an upright piano and a few old classics from the seventies. Maybe even a few old jazz songs my dad used to play as well." He raises the bottle in a toast as well, "To things going our way," he offers, before the question about a name is asked. "I'm not sure, there tend to be some good ones out there," he offers.

Ico nudges Lyric, "Hey, it comes in handy." He offers in return in a playful tone. As for name, he shrugs. "I don't know." Though he does perk up at her suggestions. "Oh, those are good. Scorched Chronicles, Sacred Augmentation, Augmented Sonata, Fight or Flight. Or we want to go more funny. Beer Pong Bulletin, Stuck in Neutral, or something else. Thralls of Today." Shrugging though. Turning to grin at Scott as well, about the tablet. "Fair, but still." Then another name. "Mistakes were Made?" Basically just spitballing whatever pops into his head.

"Guys we've got to also remember when we play we play what the people want to hear. At home in the garage we can play what we want. Or on some random Karaoke night we can play what we want. But if we're ever paid to play I'm not sure seventies will do the trick for us." Lyric laughs, "Stuck in Neutral. I like that one." A nod after, "And Mistakes were Made. Martyr Machine."

"Well, those songs were not meant for that, really," Scott replies, a bit lightly, before he shrugs a bit, taking a sip from his beer as he glances around again. "For some reason, I dreamt one time about a band that had a name based on one of the most irritating things you get to hear when buying a number of things using power..." A brief pause, before he adds, "Batteries Not Included."

Ico nods, "Partially at least. But we can't only play what others want. It won't last too long if it's something we dislike." He points out. "We need to be able to find a balance. Do things we enjoy, but tweak it to something others can like as well." He suggests. "Scared we'll be compared with Betraying the Martyrs." He offers about the last one. "I do like it though." Is added. Grinning as he look to Scott as well. Pointing to Scott, "Good name, but taken." He says with a sigh. "Listened to them not too long ago." Taking a swig of his beer.

"That's true, we do want some original songs too. But I just wanted to get a feel for this place. Ico, want to pipe out a song, see how the acoustics are? Here and outside, so we know where we get the best sound." Lyric starts tapping out a beat on her legs.

Scott chuckles, nodding a bit. "It's all about balance. Both what others want, what we want, and sometimes some of those just naturally fall together. I also suspect many people would just simply prefer having something to listen to, no matter what it was. But it's probably easier to know if we speak with either a bartender or the manager. They might probably know more." Taking another sip from his bottle, he blows some air into the bottle, just to hear how the sound is, almost absently.

Ico ahs and nods, "Of course." He shrugs though. "And well, if we play as a house band it would probably be mainly covers, with a few original. But too be fair, I am sure it's not the only place we'd play." Nodding some. "Sure, what song?" He asks and smiles. Pondering some at what to sing. "Ballad style?" Trying to figure out what to sing. Starting to drum on the bar some. Nodding to Scott's suggestions as well. "Perhaps so." Grinning at the bottle blowing. "Getting a good sound?" He asks before finally starting to drum 'We will rock you'.

"The earliest musical instruments. Blowing into things." Lyric presses her lower lip to her bottle and blows too, briefly. "Any song you want. Something ballad style, haunting, loud and obnoxious. You name it. I just want to hear how it sounds." Moving her head along when Ico starts singing, she taps out a beat too. Definitely not a drummer though. Then she goes to air guitar and gets on her feet, head banging a little. Nothing heavy metal, just having fun.

Scott is unable to hold back a grin as Ico starts on the song. Placing his bottle on the countertop, he grins, joining in with the rythm, and adding background vocals where they should be. Grinning as he looks around at other people present in the room, nodding and hoping they join in as well.

Ico does lean into the rap-esque part some. Trying to get them riled up before the chorus hits. When it does he will bounce off the bar to stand steady on his feet. "Sing it!" Trying to get everyone to sing along. Perhaps turning some heads. He does glance to the bar, to jump on, but the bartender spots it, shaking his head at Ico. Instead he dances out in the middle some. Clapping his head above his head, to the beat.

Lyric starts clapping along while some of the other drinkers in the bar do. Hey, everyone is looking for a good time. She sings along with Ico but she doesn't take lead or anything, just having fun, her air guitar as her instrument with claps now and again between.

Scott grins as he sings along, and staying with the beat, clapping and stomping. He looks around, both at the guests at the bar and the bartender, grinning as he sees how the crowd is reacting. Good times, right?

Ico does move to Lyric as sheis strumming on her air guitar. Holding the bar with one hand and the other admiring the invisible guitar as he rocks out some. Holding out his air mic to her to sing before spinning to Scott to let him sing as well. "Thank you!" Bowing as he finishes the song. Grinning as his bandmates.

Lyric just has fun every time music is involved. It's her jam. She dances, sings into the air mic until Ico moves off to Scott. When they finish she twirls around, excited, and takes a seat again to finish her beer, her cheeks flushed with excitement.

Scott sings as it's his turn, unable to hold back a grin as he does. There might even be some movements people, if they are being very nice, or very diplomatic, can call dancing. As they finish, the grin widens as he looks to the crowd. Waiting for a few moments longer before he moves back to the bar and his beer, taking a long sip. "Nicely done."

Ico grins and hudges them both. Enjoying it all as well. "Next will be a slower one." He suggests. Though taking a moment to rest now. A bit out of breath. "You too." Offered to Scott, as well as turning to to include Lyric. "Next time we do need real instruments." He suggests and grins. Buying a round of beer for the three of them.

Lyric hugs them both back. "Does anyone know what they are going to sing on karaoke night yet? I've been t hinking of different songs. I want to sing something funny. Also, if we do try out here, what should we sing? Probably some sort of rock, maybe a little older since that one seemed to interest those here already."

Scott drains the rest of the beer he had, before he grins as he hugs the other two. "Karaoke night? Not entirely decided yet. I'm considering going for something Italian, actually, but there's still time to decide, after all." He then nods a bit. "The good thing about songs like this one is how people know them well, and thus they may be more likely to sing along."

Ico shrugs, "Not sure about what to sing. Whatever I can think of." He suggests. "Not sure how good I am at karaoke though, I do enjoy making the songs my own." And often they do sound a bit different at spots to the original, harder to do that with karaoke. Nodding about going italian. "Old or new?" He asks curiously. Nodding about the song they sang. "Indeed, it is also an anthem style song. It's made to be sung along to. A lot of sing-along songs have that." He suggests. He does seem amused though. "We should probably either go another rock style like that, or just something everyone would know. A popular pop song." He suggests and grins.

Lyric finishes her first beer and accepts the second one, compliments of Ico. "Thanks Ice." Reverting to his nickname. She smiles at Scott, "That's the good thing about Karaoke. You can sing any song you want and get by with it. We should start our drinking at home before coming. If they have time for a second song we could all do one together maybe. What would it be?" A smiling look between them. "Footloose? So everyone can get up and dance, we can dance too. It'd be great."

"If we get a second song together, we could go for something with a few different voices too, just to have some fun with that. Lots of possibilities," Scott replies, with a grin. "And the Italian would be nineties, probably. One of the songs by Eros Ramazzotti, I think." Taking a sip from the second beer now. "Thanks."

Ico smiles and nods to Lyric as she goes back to his nickname. Chuckling and nodding. "Yes to both suggestions." He says and grins. "Backstreet boys, I want it that way. With all four of us." He suggests and grins. "Each take one singer." He suggests and grins. As for Scott's pick, he nods. "Could be interesting." He agrees and smiles. "I do want to see all of us singing more, to see what our styles are. Would make it more interesting when we start mixing together."

"Have you heard from Park lately, Ice?" Lyric hadn't and they were all getting comfortable in their shared room without he so far. "Or we could do Baby Bye Bye Bye." She even sticks her hand out and opens and closes her hand like they do. "I know what I will solo." A smile to Scott. "I don't know the song but I'm sure I will like it." His song she means.

Scott grins. "Sounds rather fun," he offers, with a bit of a grin. "And who knows, maybe it'll make people smile, right?" He grins a bit as he listens to what's said, nodding a bit at Lyric. "And singing one of those will give me a chance to practice my Italian too."

Ico shakes his head, "Not much as of yet. She's been studying a lot. I did shoot her a text though. So hoping she can move in soon." A nod about Scott's song, and the familiarity they might have with it. "Yeah, been awhile since I heard any Ramazotti myself, actually." Nodding about Scott practicing his italian as well. "I do enjoy singing in foreign languages as well. Though usually have no clue what I'm singing." He says and let out a soft laugh.

Lyric laughs with Ico, "Me too, I don't know any other languages, but I may start learning with Rosetta Stone. That would be cool. I'll sing any group song you guys want. As long as I kow it. Or if Park is there a couple could do duets together too." She drinks more of her beer. "I'm excited. And that would be great for you, Scott, practicing your Italian."

Scott smiles, "WEll, since I don't think it would be easy to find any songs in Greek or Latin, Italian sounded like the best choice. And I've always loved learning languages." As well as most other things, really. He takes another sip from his beer now, thoughtful. "It'll be great fun."

Ico chuckles and nods. As for duets he nods. "Perhaps. Though who to sing with then?" Looking between the two of them teasingly. A nod as he lean back. "Should be fun." He agrees. Nodding some. Hands in his pockets.

"I like singing with both of you so I don't mind either. Maybe let Park have her preference since she's the newest? Or you guys can choose, I don't mind. No one is going to get hurt feelings or anything," Lyric reassures.

"I don't mind either way, it'll be fun," he offers, with a grin.
