Minerva had decided to leave the office early and to deal with letting out some pre-holiday angst. She hated the holidays when she was alone. Which...since Abel was murdered she didn’t really bring anyone around.

She felt alone, even if she wasn’t.

There was a weird stigma that she felt, even if was all in her head. She knew that she had people that loved her and friends. But she wanted something more. She wanted someone she could introduce to her parents and her brother. Someone she could let Ashira call ‘Uncle’. Ashira had loved Abel, so she was scared to bring a new man into her life. Especially with the divorce being new still. But, the little girl was happier and she was glad that her brother could move on.

Her adventure left her at the cemetery and taking care of a few of the usual things. First stop was by Billy’s grave to pick out weeds and then to leave him a few flowers, the man didn’t need them given he was dead, but she felt better for it.

She then made her way to the other side of the cemetery and sat down at Abel’s grave. She’d given away her last physical items that she held to Billy the Gohl. She wasn’t sure what else she had to give. She didn’t know what else she was going to have to give up by the end of the year, but she wasn’t sure she could take much more.

She gave a look over the grave and then noticed that Abel’s sigils were getting worn. Which made her redraw them and resettle them. It was just an odd tick. She didn’t want anyone to try making him crawl out of the grave, because what dickhead would do that?!

The Dark Men, those dickheads would!

She sat there for about twenty more minutes, just listening to the quiet around and making mental notes. Maybe she’d bring something new to decorate his grave with. She was lost in thought, but her phone ringing brought her out of her far off thoughts.

When she looked down she saw a text from her niece and it made her smile, she still needed to deliver her gifts from Tel Aviv. So with a quiet goodbye she rose and then headed back to her car to head out.
