After the others left, and the cops came, and questions were answered, and they left and things settled down and most of the carts closed up shop for the night there remained Yule and Nicole. She is still wearing her combat boots, jeans, black sweater, black leather jacket, and the skull motif infinity scarf while he... has lost his lovely wool coat, or rather, gave it away for it to be replaced with a different sort of fashion statement.

Nicole has a fresh cocoa now, having drank her last despite it growing cold. She still seems to be in a bit of a daze, looking over to Yule she finally asks, "um, are you okay? I mean, you don't seem hurt at all. But... does this sort of thing happen to you often?" She grins, repeating the same question he asked to her earlier.

Thankfully Yule was a familiar enough face around the cops that they weren't kept long, and once it all settles, he too has yet another cup of cocoa. "Cats?" A beat of a pause, his eyes casting a side long glance off cautiously towards the trees before a low breath is pushed out, "No. Strange stuff? Well... yeah. A bit. Since I've been back in town." His lips purse, and despite not having his coat, he hasn't put on that hoodie. Especially given the fact that the man who gifted it to him? Was half a foot shorter and skinner than the M.E. is. "Lots of weird shit goes on in this town. Why did you just stand there and stare at the damn thing?"

"Cats are weird..."

Nicole nods and says, "yeah, the strange stuff. Are you cold?" She glances towards the hoodie, but his question catches her off guard. Dark eyes flick up to his and she says, so eloquently, "uhh.... I.... Didn't know what else to do." That much was true, even if she couldn't actually explain the real reason.

"Yeah? So what were you doing?" It isn't accusatory, but nor does it just let the matter rest, the question as direct as ever. Only to be interrupted by the ringtone of Doja Cat playing Juicy, small clips of the song. Once. Twice. Three times. "Well," He murmurs, one dark brow arching upwards to Nicole, as if this? Is all just perfectly normal. "That's Sparrow." Out a low breath comes, tongue dipping out to wet against his lower lip, before he murmurs, "Last time? I was in the funeral home. A work thing, yeah? And next thing I know, one of the bodies is trying to get up."

"I don't know... trying to... Sometimes I think like..." Nicole doesn't exactly feel sane talking about things like this. Especially since she isn't exactly sure what all this is. "I just feel like..." but then the phone does off and her eyes go wide, looking towards wherever the phone is, then to Yule's face before she bursts out laughing! "I never would have taken you for a fan of that song... Interesting!" Then he is talking about one of his experiences and she stares at him. "Like... wait. Was it actually not dead? Oh my god, that would freak me out so much."

"Look, it's Sparrow's favorite song of this year," Yes. That is absolutely believable, given the red haired drummer, "so, it is her ring tone." Out that phone is fished, flipped on silent as another burst of Juicy comes out, and already he is typing something back. "No. Yes. It was still dead. Just.. risen. We were caught in a storm, and then unlike this? Once it was all over, the body just went back to... being a body." It buys Yule time to consider that first thing she tried to explain, head tipping to one side as he watches the blonde. "Yeah? It sure seemed to be limping. Probably the reason it didn't get to me before the hoodie did."

Nicole is just grinning at Yule at that, shaking her head with a soft laugh. "You really are done in by her man. So adorable." As he is texting, he goes back to talking about the real-life version of The Walking Dead. "What.. like, what happened? What did you do?" Brows raising when he mentions the limping. "Yeah? I hope so.. I mean. Yeah." She looks absolutely embarrassed by it, truly. "I didn't want it to hurt you."

"Tell Sparrow I said hi," she adds.

"Done in? Nah. I just believe in embracing fully who someone is. And if that means having Juicy as my ring tone? Done deal," He murmurs, even as he types out a few more texts, though those brown eyes rest primarily upon Nicole still, given the gravity of their discussion. "We tied her down... and tranquilized the other body. I'll save you the gory details," Because there were plenty of bone snapping, horrifying things in it all, "But it seemed to be tied to the deepest, strongest part of a passing storm. It went on... and everything went back to normal." His head slowly nods at her words, a low breath pushed out, "Yeah? Well, look. I appreciate it. Really. Take it you don't know much about... all this. Why some people look different than others to us. You can tell, yeah?"

"Just saying... that's some next level there. Not sure I would do that if it was Joey's favorite." Nicole pauses as a thought strikes her and she has to ask, "what if it goes off when you are on official looking at a crime scene duty?" Another pause. "What? Other body? There was more than one?" Shrugging her shoulder she says, "I don't know you well, but, you're Sparrow's so..." Not that she wouldn't try to help anyone, but, it did put more imperative on it. Nodding a little she says, "yeah... I can tell. I mean... do you? Know much, that is."

"I bet you would. If music was as important to him as it was to her," There is a certainty there, chin tucking down as Yule arches up a dark brow, "After all, you did jello wrestle in a bikini in front of a couple hundred people." A small snort of laughter comes, and the man doesn't have a single ounce of remorse or shame about it, "Went off when a detective and I were heading out to the cemetery to talk with the caretaker. And... yeah. I know stuff. Quite a bit, though I don't know as much about what /I/ can do. Yet."

"There... weren't that many there, were there?" Nicole certainly didn't count. If she had, well, she might have been more nervous. "And that was... different." Was it? really? Maybe not. She shrugs but then looks to the nearby bench, moving towards it to take a seat. Crossing her legs at the knee, she tucks her free hand between them to warm it up, lifting her cocoa for a sip. Her eyes watch him curiously and she asks, "how much, like, what do you know?"

"There sure were a lot. And look how high the bidding got, yeah? Quite the crowd," He points out, chin tucking down, "It was? Different? To be able to crown your man as the sexiest of the twins in front of everyone?" A soft snort of amusement comes from him, Yule not letting her off the hook as his phone is finally slid back into his pocket, at least for now. "How much do you want to know? I don't want to," It's a beat of a pause, a flicker of a smile curling to the corners of his mouth. "Your a good person, Nicole. I like you. And you are good for Sparrow. I get if you don't want to go digging around. But, if you do? I can at least help out some, if you want to know more."

"Well... he is," Nicole says with confidence. "It was really moving how much we raised. How many people turned out for it. Not like, because we were jello wrestling, but because of the charity. I am humbled." And she does indeed look it. But that aside, she heaves a breath . "I want to know more. I've um, I think I've done things on accident and I am not sure actually if I did it, or if I didn't. And if I did, well, I would like to know how or, how to control it, use it, something."

Yule spends a luck point. Reason: For Isabella's horrible, mean dice not going my way in body examining.

"Yeah. It's... I can at least educate you on the terminology. Some of what it is. Some of what to look out for. Teaching how to control it," His head wobbles one way and then another, considering, before he murmurs, "I'm still figuring that out, exactly. But, what I do know? I can help you with, because in that case? It's far better to be as prepared as possible. I do know some folks have... done very bad things unintentionally, at times." A deep breath is in, and then he looks around the park, before he muses, "But. This? Certainly isn't the place to have a discussion. How about you come by the trailer some night in the next few days. This? Is definately a scotch conversation."

Nicole nods and plays the tip of her tongue along her teeth. "A lot of scotch... I'm thinking." She pulls her phone out of her pocket to look at the time. "I should get going anyway.. but I will take you up on that. Totally." She moves to stand again and says to him, "I am glad you were not eaten."

Down the last of his cocoa is had, and a flicker of a smile curls to the corners of his mouth, "Is that cause you didn't want to have to tell her what happened?" Yule tosses his cup away into the trashcan, "Thanks. Again. And yeah... I'll see you soon then. Be safe on your way home." And with that he turns, starting to head off out of the park, to leave the evil cats to do what evil cats do.

"Yeaaaaaahhhhh. I mean, that might have been part of it." Nicole smirks to him, lifting a hand to wave as he walks away before she heads on her own way.
