I was planning on a chill night watching other fools sing. She (and Madison) convinced me to be one of those fools. No matter what, we'll always have Croc Rockin'.
Three years behind her in school. And a serious snob. Because she's an Addington. Nowadays, she comes in to get her hair cut, and is one of the world's most exacting clients. But the tips are good. So.
He's been coming to the salon probably as long as he's been in town. Good conversation, even if his jokes are sometimes awful. Solid tipper.

They dated briefly in high school, two people who were both basically just destined to go nowhere. He just really nailed it as far as that goes: got arrested and sent to prison. They've run into each other a few times, but he's... different now. Prison'll do that?
They say he's the nice one. Nicole remembers him from High School and some of the pranks he and his brother played.
Two years ahead of her in school. They were kind of friends, but not exactly close. Nicole doesn't see her much, though she comes in to get her hair trimmed every so often. Not exactly a fashion plate.
He's impishly sweet. A man of few words, but his smile speaks volumes. Don't underestimate this one, he just might call your bluff.
I super miss him being around. Wonder what he's up to....
She is Trouble with a capital T, really. But, it's been enjoyable Trouble so far. She dragged me out of my comfort zone kicking and screaming, and really? I hadn't felt more like myself in a long time. And she remains my ride or die, through many hair colors. I adore my future wife. And.... she bought me the hottest black leather pants ever!
Yeah, she knew him in High School too. But now? Well, he's just as mischievous as he was back then, if not more. Part of the team that dragged Nicole out of her comfort zone. Where he ends up dragging her to is anyone's guess. She's not complaining. Oh, and he is Totally Not the Nice One. He may have paid her to say that, who knows... (To be continued...)
He started out a High School friend, then, she graduated and moved away. She came back and he was a Mischief Maker... Now? Well, he's dragged her to the colors, and pancakes, and ringside... The adventures continue. So, what is he now?
Now, he is her husband. Oh, did they forget to tell you? MARRIED. Who woulda thought... (and quite happily so)
- Runaway Local - Like a lot of people, Nicole wanted to shake the dust of this town off her when she turned eighteen. She blew town for eight years, returning in late 2017.
- Hairdresser - She has a chair at the local beauty parlor, and she's pretty damn good at what she does.
- Amateur Photographer - Mostly, it's just stuff she puts on social media, but she has been known to agree to take on a wedding or a prom photo or some such. Go ahead and ask?
Nicole always, always wanted to go somewhere else. The second she turned eighteen - which wasn't until the summer after she graduated high school, what a pain in the ass - she was out the door and on the road. She put Gray Harbor in her rear-view mirror, and never had any intentions of coming back to this shithole town. Her parents were deadbeats anyway, her dad had been laid off from the sawmill for years and just worked shitty jobs around town, and her mom was a waitress at the diner. They had been divorced since she was a kid, and she wasn't exactly going to miss them.
She spent five years rattling around the country, seeing the sites. She took up photography, but never got good enough at it to make a living. It wasn't until she was twenty-three and living in Phoenix that she settled down, albeit briefly. She fell head-over-heels for Mitch Swanson, a local mechanic. He was a lot like her dad, though it would take her almost a year of dating him before she really saw just how much like her dad he was. That's when he started hitting her. And - after the second time, when he knocked her unconscious - that's when she hit back. And it wasn't just with her fists. She threw the pain back at him, forced it into his soul, worked him until all he wanted was escape, then gave it to him.
The Phoenix cops found him hanging in his garage. They knew there was more to this story, but they couldn't pin anything on Nicole.
Shaken, she blew town and returned home. She came back to Gray Harbor, threw herself into beauty school just to have some way to pay the bills, and now works in the local beauty parlor. She can feel the other people in town like her, but she also knows... she knows they're stronger than she is. But she's gonna get stronger. She's gonna figure this out. And she's never gonna be hurt again.
Tall, blonde, tan. Nicole's easy on the eyes, to put it mildly. She's long-legged and slim, at 5'10", with a long fall of wavy blonde hair that reaches down to the middle of her back - though, as often as not, she touches it with a spray of color, from realistic shades of auburn to impossible hues of pink. It's like her very own canvas, that hair. Her eyes are a little narrow to be ideal, but a brown that seems at odds with that blonde of her hair, and touched with make-up. She has a nice smile, and a build that's pleasantly curvy, probably could get plump, but she seems to keep an eye on it.
