There's no classes on Sunday, which leaves Hera to taking a bit of a break. Hans appears to be in a more relaxed mood too as he sits on all fours and remains near his 'alpha.' Queso, for right now, is nowhere to be seen which can be a cause for alarm. The cat has likely knocked over numerous wine glasses and the wine bottles may be up next if she's not careful. But, she doesn't seem to worry too much. Right now she begins to be perusing over some mail, noting this and nothing that. Yup, today might be a paperwork kinda day. There's always time that needs to be devoted to that.

Since Grace work nearby, and also can get here without stepping outside in the cold, she has come over during break. Probably only working a few hours today, luckily. Though she is still in her uniform. Short pleated red and black skirt with boots and a red button up shirt tied under the breasts. A patch on the short sleeve of the shirt looks like a fire department patch but it says: The Firehouse. Stepping inside and looking around to try and spot Hera. "Hello?" In her arm does seem to be a furry thing as well. Perhaps since she did hear Hera's words on Hans, but she did bring Winston, not setting him down for now though.

Hera looks away from the paperwork and sets her eyes on the entrance. "Oh hello!" she says as she gets to her feet. "I'm glad you came by again." The uniform is not what she normally sees Grace in, but she smiles, "Nice outfit, quite professional." Hopefully all uniforms are. Then she notices the doggie and immediately goes, "Awwwwwwwwwwwww, so you brought him by! He's adorable! Can I get you anything to drink?"

Grace smiles and nods, "Thank you!" Looking at her uniform some. "I think my grandparents wanted to have a cute look, without it looking slutty." She suggests. Winston does glance up a bit lazy though then seemingly stretches up some. Before looking to Hans, studying him. "Soda, if you have it. Thank you." Giving a wave to Hans as well.

Hera nods to her dog in a bit of a unique way, as if giving him the signal to get up and go over. Hera seems somewhat relaxed, so he mirrors that a moment and she says, "I have coke, diet coke." Looking at a mini fridge behind the counter she says, "Don't keep too many soads around. Stupid trademarks and all. Sometimes wine is easier to get but I have those two, I drink the diet coke myself." The German Sheppard licks his lips as he watches the small dog. Food or friend? Hmmmmm

Grace does kneel down to let Winston step forward. The dog does not seem scared, but cautious. Studying the other. While staying near Grace. Stretching in attempt to at least look a bit taller. "Diet is fine. I probably shouldn't have coke. I do need to help at the restaurant a bit more, later." She explains. Petting Winston some before giving him a gentle nudge. Then Grace stand up. "How is work?"

Hera hears the mention of a restaurant, her curiousity peaked a little. "Oh, Thewlis and Devlin and Jade and I were at the, what is it, Grizzly Diner, the other day. I guess I didn't catch where your business is?" She had strange observations about the diner but, she is still a bit new here. The soda is brought over with a glass of ice and Hans watches the other four legger with mild interest. "He's a new friend boy." she tells her dog, "You need play dates, it'll be fun!" Hans never has fun, nope. Poor overworked dog.

Grace smiles and nods, "Over at the Firehouse Burgers and BBQ. We are somewhat connected to the strip mall as well." She explains. Nodding about the Grizzly Diner. "Ah, yes. I like it." Winston in turn moving around some. Slowly moving towards Hans, "Same goes for you Winston." She offers. It seems both dogs at least try to greet one another.

Hans decides that hey, maybe he wouldn't be a good appetizer. In face, the cute little puppy is just that, cute. It's then that Hans does down in a playful motion that only a dog would do. He barks, tail high up in the air, wagging and then just goes back to wagging the tail. The bark is a deep one, but a cute one. As of now there's no harm.

"Oh fantastic!" she says, "I had a burger there the other day and was just thinking ok, I need a good burger joint, a really good one. I'll definitely need to stop by for lunch or something. I'm not that much of a cook myself but, I really do look forward to cooking for some friends. That is going to take time though."

Winston does jump back some at the bark. Looking almost grumpy. Though the tail is wagging as well. Taking a moment before going to try and sniff. Moving closer. Up on hind legs to try and get higher. Then back to all four and offering a cute bark of his own.

Grace does look to the dogs but after a moment she will look to Hera with a nod. "I've only been to Grizzly Diner once or twice. Gina is amusing." Nodding about Hera cooking for friends. "I can always ask Faith if she has any pointers, or any sauce or such she can offer." Is suggested. In case Hera wants it. Grace isn't much of a cook either.

One of the dogs is cute, the other gruff. Hera looks like she's about to make another remark regarding the diner, but then she sees her huge guard dog begin to act like a puppy. This is something she didn't expect to happen so soon. Hans twirls around for a brief moment as if he's chasing his tail but then he catches sight of a cloth napkin. Yup, time to get really playful. He tosses the napkin in the dog's direction and barks. Then he lunges in, as if to try to playfully yank the piece of fabric away from the cutie pie. Then a bark turns into a brief howl, prompting the smaller four legger to join in the fun!

But, where's Queso? If you have to ask where the cat is, that might not be a good thing.

Winston can't decide if he should join in. Running after the other for a moment before the cloth comes. Moving towards it but glancing to Grace. "Go on." Comes from the girl. Which makes Winston try to take the cloth.
Grace turn towards Hera, "By the way, where's Queso?" Finally asking.

The large dog wuffs and just waits for the smaller one to react. The bush of a tail is wagging and wagging and wagging some more but then, Grace had to ask. Yup, Queso is around but this time he's not around the easels. This time, he is proving he isn't always a bush dwelling type cat. Before Hera an even try to answer that, a strange shuffling sound is heard and then a CRASH. Yup, someone needs to have some sense to house the wine glasses properly. But Queso saw a light fixture that was oh too interesting. He leaps at it as it swings and, crazy enough become entangled in it. "Oh no." she say, "Something else poor Thewlis will have to fix." But, is the cat really going to be ok there THAT high in the ceiling? It swings and swings and well, doesn't know what electricity really is. Having some intelligence, Hera goes to turn the light switch to the off position.

The smaller dog does reac and will try to get the cloth to run away, if allowed to. Grace moves to follow Hera, looking to the cat. "Oh!" Trying to be nearby to help out. "Careful there." Offered to the cat. "Ladder?" She asks to Hera, in case they want to try and get the cat out and down into safety.

Hans looks up at what everyone is watching. He's not a stupid dog it seems. When he notices the antics he just thinks to himself <<Stupid cat>>. Queso is the attention hog AND this was HIS playdate! "Yeah." she says, "Need to find one, for sure, seriously for sure. Adopt a cat they say, it'll be fun they say." Even the nice and sweet Hera has to grump at this one. The cat, in the meantime, just seems to have fun swinging. Crazy hoomans, why are they making so much of a fuss about it?

Winston seem a bit more at ease as he comes up next to Hans to stare at the cat. Dropping the cloth. A bark, as if to say 'get down'. Grace snickering at the grumping at the cat. Looking around for something to catch the cat with, so he can jump down if needed. "I guess he is just bored, wanting to find something to do?" She suggests and grins.

Hera finally finds a ladder, but it's not a ladder that is too user friendly. She rolls it out and looks at it confused. "Oh crap" she says. It looks like it has about three pieces, and it definitely not a cheap o. Because of that it'll take her a while to figure out how to use it. "Uhm" she says as she begins to pull it apart, or try to. "Know how to, undo this thing?"

Yeah, artsy types are not the most handy, even if they have cute things and cute cats. Cute cats that, like to get into trouble it seems. Queso just continues to hang on, now showing any fear or anything. "Well, he may be bored." Hera grumps, "But now I'm not."

Grace does have some experience with all kind of ladders. Though admittedly, perhaps not these ones. But she will try to help out. Hopefully they can figure it out quickly enough. A giggle, "True. Not you have something to do." And there. "Voila. We got it."

There's nothing like a strange cat to change what would otherwise be a fun play date into cat chaos. With a bit of a huff she says, "Thank you." It's obviously not Grace she is huffing at, obviously not. She does put the ladder right under the light fixture and steps on up. "Ok silly, time for you to get down." She reaches for the cat and the cat well, Hera is just playing, right? The cat just sticks out a paw and wants to play, nothing big here, nothing big at all.

Grace just look amused. "He seem to be amused." Holding the ladder, and probably making sure that Hera doesn't fall as well. For now just making sure no one get hurt.

It takes some time, and Hera obviously choose the wrong name. She should have named herself Athena because it looks like she's about to go to war. She reaches for the cat and he paws in return, then she tries to grab him and he resists. Yes, he's happy where he is but it's not the most secure fixture, especially now. This tests her abilities but after some wrangling, and obviously some unique moves, the cat is briefly held and it jumps off of Hera and runs around on the floor. "Better if he sticks to the easels." she mummurs.

Grace does laugh a bit as the cat runs around some. "You need to be nice to Hera." She tells the cat, most likely the cat doesn't even notice it. Offering to help Hera down if she need it.

One this is for sure, the cat is more nimble than she is. Queso rushes off and goes over to one of the easels to lick himself and Hera just groans and puts up the ladder. "Two pets" she remarks, "That's enough, truly enough." Reaching over to Hans, she goes to scratch him behind the ears, "Enjoy yourself boy, you have certainly earned it."

Grace grins at the words, "I've been fine with just Winston." She offers. The little dog does perk up at his name running over to get some petting as well. Then looking to Hera, taking small steps. Hey, she seems nice after all. And Hans has been a fun play date so far. If you take away the distraction from the cat. Running up next to Hans. Winston then let out a small yelp sounding bark.

Total cuteness, but Hans doesn't perceive cuteness like these silly hoomans do. Since the cat is no longer in distress, and Hera appears calmer, the small cloth napkin is tossed back in Winston's direction. It's not the best aim since Hans is throwing it, but it does float over in his general direction. With a gruffer bark, the German Sheppard commands his new friend to take the napkin, at least since there's no other toy around.

Winston does try to catch it midair, missing. But then rushing to take the napkin. Laying down some to let his large friend catch up. Napkin in mouth.

Hans barks a bit more and he easily catches up. It's not hard for him to pick up the napkin in return. Playfully growling, he tries to 'bait' his friend into taking it. Now, is a great time to be a real puppy!

Winston does try to get a hold of it again. Sure, he is probably a bit older, but still. He wants to get to play some as well. Getting a hold of it, but most likely dragged around by Hans. Just trying not to drop the hold he has. Probably able to pick it up with him just hanging without letting go.

Grace does glance to them once in awhile, amused and probably recording some of it. Winston has a friend now after all! "How has things been going otherwise? I know you had to run to get some errands tended to last time we met."

Hera watches the dogs play and play and play and just grins, "Not bad, not bad at all. I got one of my first clients in a way the other day. He is a friend of Maggi's and he doesn't really seem to understand just how talented he is. Really large guy, you definitely don't want to get into a tustle with him. If you like lighthouses well, you should like that." She points to a photo on the wall that appears a bit abstract but it's a lovely picture of a lighthouse either at sunrise or sunset. She then says with a happy tone of voice, "And Jade I think she might play here too, if I heard right."

Grace smiles and nods, "I remember him coming by. We talked for a bit after you left." She says. Having looked at that lighthouse photo before. Jade though, she does not know. "Play? She is performing here?"

Well, it is a business of course, and as such, the phone goes off. "Ergh, always something to check on." She dusts herself off after the Queso incident though and says, "I need to go check on that but please, make yourself at home. I think the play date was great!" Off she goes to take care of something or another.
