Utopia, how could I have found thee? But, I did. Apparently, I did. I managed to come here before Christmas, and normally the holidays were such a horrible time for me. Like the Greek goddess herself I had been betrayed, but I never gave up. Recently, I found myself making gifts for people who were true friends.
True friends, that’s what finally motivated me to write this first entry in my diary……
I didn’t see myself going to the LGBT party but Kim, a fellow artist, invited me. The whole ordeal with Theo proved I do find men attractive but, yes, I will have my scars but, that’s in the past. I wish I had the same friends then that I do now because things would have been better. I wouldn’t have lost my little girl.
Now, my friends, why are they so amazing? They are……the town. They are the town that welcomed me with open arms. Thewlis helped me setup my home and even helped to get my dog comfortable. Maggi bonded with my cat on a level I never thought was possible. Mae gave me a reason to start expressing myself and she let me speak of my past without judgment. Grace, sweet Grace, she came by to spend Christmas Eve with me when I was alone. I didn’t want to go to the New Year’s party either because I didn’t want to go alone but Beth and Stephanie made sure I wasn’t by myself. Also, there’s Abby, the nurse who really should be named Angelic Abby because she is just so kind. Then, of course Devlin, one of the few family members who is hot as hell but who doesn’t want to be setup with anyone he says. So, Hans will guard his ring until he’s ready, if he ever is.
But there were a few pretty ladies at Winterfest the other night too. Am I a lesbian? I don’t know, it doesn’t matter but, what does matter is this…..
Out of all of these years of suffering as a teenager and a young woman, my friends, my true friends, saw me pass out at a party and made sure, somehow, that I got safely home with my family. My family being my cat and my dog.
I don’t even know how to thank them all.
Wait….I know.
I will stand by my promise to make Vivid Dreams a place where all artists can grow and thrive and find a sanctuary. This should make my friends proud of me and, should they need me, I will be there for them.
Ironic thing is, that was my main goal for this place to begin with.
I love you my friends. You’ll never read this but, know that I love you and thank you for welcoming me to this new town where I can begin again.

My birthday is soon, and rarely have I ever had time to contemplate such a thing. I’ve made a vow to do my best to forget the past, though really forgetting such nightmares is impossible. I do remember flashes of a few parties when I was very very young, then when I was with Theo we celebrated a few times. His betrayal made the memory of those celebrations horrible.
But, I have moved on, I truly have. I know, many people say that but don’t really mean it. If I haven’t completely moved on, I am definitely in the process of it. Leon came by to offer me some security advice and it was another good reminder that I do have friends here. Friends that I deeply and truly love.
So, what else do I have to write? I’m hoping I can have a birthday with a new perspective. A perspective of hope and safety. I’ll never be in the arms of someone who wants to hurt me, not if I can do anything about it, and, that is something I can always fix. No more a slave, but now a goddess, now and forever.
Next time I write diary, I’ll tell you how my birthday went.

I have received the best birthday gift anyone could ever receive. I am love. Those three words do not always have that much meaning, but to me, those three things mean so much. She is literally the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Her face holds a myraid of emotions from strong to loving and gentle. Her lips form such a loving smile that truly fills my body and soul with an intense euphoria that no one else would ever understand. And naturally, her eyes also give me a wanton glance that could make me beg for more over and over again. When we kiss my heart is aflame with desire and when she holds me I feel a serenity I never experienced before. Then, when she stands by my side, I feel both pride and security, as if it's another reminder that I do not need to face the world alone anymore.
She claims she always keeps her promises and that is true. Also, like me, she despises lies.
Where will this go? Time will tell of course. I do look forward to the future now for many different reasons. I imagine when the time is right and I can tell her I love her, that will be one of the greatest days of my life. Something like that won't happen overnight of course but, I don't remember being this happy before. Maybe my art makes me this happy, but she has become my muse.

Never in my life have I felt so much peace and passion at the same time. You are pure bliss my muse. When I need inspiration I will think of how you wrapped your arms around me and when I need to see beauty, I will remember how entrancing your ebony hair looks as it falls around your fair face. Things have started to go fast, but I am eager to see what the future holds.
What are you? First of all, you're a nuisance. You interrupt my classes by showing off your ass, you call me old and ugly, then you grab my butt like I'm some sort of whore. I'm not your bitch and you damn well better remember it. Then, you say you want to protect me? You might want to lay off the drugs dude.
Art--The purpose of opening up Vivid Dreams was to create a haven where artists can create and show their work of all types. Hera is always looking to meet with anyone who has any level of artistic talent. This ranges from visual arts, performing arts, writing, dancing, and beyond.
Animals--Having a cat and a dog, she loves animals and just about anyone who loves them.
Business--While art is her main focus, she has a head for business. Teaching classes is what keeps Vivid Dreams going and she's always looking to network with anyone in marketing fields.
Friendships--Hera has a lot of love in her heart and she cherishes her friendships. If someone she sees as a true friend is in trouble, she'd do anything to help.
Wine--Not an extreme drug user or smoker, Hera's drink of choice is wine, normally with lower alcohol levels. She has also grown to become an amateur wine taster.
Bi--Her feelings for Jessica proved to herself that she is bisexual. If anyone makes fun of LGTB groups, that would likely piss her off quick.
Revealed to admiring eyes this woman stands moderately tall and looks around with confidence and a hint of curiosity. Flickering with a mass of emotions, she views things through an artistic perception, examining the world around her carefully and keeping a variety of visions locked in her mind. As her nimble movements somewhat obvious, one can further take in her appearance to see she's dressed in dark clothes that seem elegant..yet a bit casual at the same time. Upon her shoulders is a short, crochet style jacket that covers the trademark 'small black dress' that many pretty women enjoy wearing. Her nails are painted red which stand out among the ebony fabric. Her hair is also red but not of the same hue, and it falls around her shoulders about mid length. Upon her feet are a pair of high heels black shoes that do not seem to click as she walks.
