There's a thin layer of snow on the ground and it's been snowing this afternoon. Seraphim is the best place to catch Doctor Irvriya Kosimar given the woman has become a bit of a hermit since certain things happened. Currently she's sitting off to the side of the counter towards the back of the main shop floor. There's a growing black mastiff that's to the side of the chair asleep. The one eyed woman looks like she's just working on files as she types on the laptop.

The door opens, heralding in one Yule Duchannes, the man dressed in a long, navy blue woolen coat that has been left undone despite the snow. His ankle high black leather boots are stomped at the front to shed snow before he gets further in, and the pair of khaki pants and white dress shirt give him a rather well put together facade. There is a flicker of a smile as his brown gaze finds Minerva, head dipping towards her in remembrance of her from the dinner those weeks ago. "Hey. Just the woman I was looking for. Hope I'm not interrupting anything?"

Minerva's eye ticks up when the door opens and there's a moment taken to look to who it is. The face looked a little familiar. She settles the laptop on the wood counter and rises, "No, you didn't interrupt anything." she tells the man. "Looking for me? What can I help with Mister..." she offers a hand in greeting.

"Yule," Comes his reminder of that name, his hand reaching out to grasp her own. It's a firm shake, but one that doesn't last overly long as he settles against the counter. "Your brother and I went to High School together... met in the Waffle House a while back." It's a dip of his head towards her as that hand withdraws, lifting up to scratch gently against his beard. "It's a rather... interesting matter, that hopefully you can shed some light on. Alexander pointed me in your direction."

Minerva gives a smile, "Yule. Apologies, my brain has been taking a bit to compute things today." she tells him. "How are you doing? I think that Ciprian has been busy as of late, but I'm guessing he'd love to see old classmates." she admits. Then he's mentioning Alexander and she sobers a touch, "Alexander always sends interesting things my way." she muses. "Would you like to have a seat and we can talk on what's going on?" she asks as she motions to the sitting area.

"It's all right," He offers up for her apology, that faint ghost of a smile gracing Yule's lips. "And yeah. I'd like to catch up with him again here soon. Just so many other things to get done, yeah?" A hand lifts, motioning for her to lead the way towards that sitting area, and he'll follow behind, sitting down only after she's taken her pick of which one she'd like. "I've been talking with a couple of people about ways to learn more, from a scientific approach, about Things," Yes, that particular word holds meaning and implication, supernatural things given the look he flashes towards her. "But there are a few problems that poses, one of which Alexander thought you might be able to help with."

Minerva gives a bit of a smile to him, "I absolutely understand too many things to do." she admits. She moves to the other room and has a seat, crossing one knee over the other and folding her hands into her lap. "Things." she echoes him, but stays quiet after that. "Scientific approaches might be tricky, but I don't think a lot of people have tried it." she admits. "What did Alexander think I could help with?" she asks as she gives a smile.

"I've had.. results," Comes his conclusion about whatever he's tried so far, a wry smile momentarily twisting upon Yule's features as he settles in close to her, but not within her comfort zone. "And the lovely thing is? Even /no/ results will tell us something, at least. But," Up a hand lifts, rubbing again at his beard as he gets himself back on track, "What I came here for. The issue is keeping the data safe. From Them. Things have a way of being destroyed, yeah? What I'd like to do is to create a room that nullifies all glimmer. I've heard it's been done before, if temporarily, and Alexander thought you might have more insight in on that."

"Results are a good thing." Minerva nods to that. Then there's a bit of an eyebrow quirk to him, "Safe from them is generally a good idea. Though I'm not sure if anything is truly safe when it comes to them." she frowns. Then there's a bit of a nod as he talks on nulling, "I nulify my nieces room as I don't want them to borther her. We found out recently she's got her own powers...so it at least lets her sleep." she sighs. "As far as nullification goes. The longest I have been able to hold it is about twenty four hours. Past that I'm unsure of it we could hold it for longer." she tells him. "Are you trying to figure out if it can be something that is long lasting or permanent?" she asks him.

Yule considers this, a soft 'mmm' coming from him, before his head dips gently into a nod of understanding, "Wise of you. I didn't get my Talent until... well, about a year ago. Could only imagine what it'd be like as a child here, being involved in it." His head shakes just a touch, Yule focusing back on that last part, "Yes. As long as possible. I have thoughts around this, based upon my own brief experiments. I was trying to create gliminol," He offers up the word with a faint smile, "Something that could detect past glimmer usage like luminol does to blood. My success? Was in combining both spiritual energy with physical changes to the liquid I was using. I was /close/. It was like changing the chemical bonds of the liquid to include the supernatural. I wonder if we had an object that was altered with physical energy to be more... receptive to holding the nullification you put on it, if that would help make it last longer."

Minerva listens to him and there's a soft smile, "It is a lot to deal with as a child. When Ciprian and I were growing up we had no idea what was going on." she admits. "And I just found out that Ciprian has powers. So that was something else." she frowns. "Though the Glimmer and the Veil is the reason I lost my eye. I just...couldn't take it." she admits. "But..." she shakes her head. Then there is a look to him as he speaks on prolonged nullification, "Hmmm." she ponders this. "I could...test things. My Physical prowess is a bit middling and my Mental is fairly well in hand. Do you know where you might lie in things?" she asks him.

"I think it leaves marks on us all. More for those who had it younger, yeah? Yours just happens to be physical. Thankfully," His chin tucks down, a faint smile flickering to his features as he murmurs, "Your good eye is dazzling enough for two." But the conversation drifts into more serious things, a soft 'mmm' coming from him as Yule considers, "I know my relative strength. The matters of the soul, spiritual, is where I'm strongest at, but I'd say mid level compared to the ones who shine the brightest. In altering physical matters? It's just a bit behind my ability in spiritual... and mental is where I only barely tap into things."

"That it does." Minerva nods to that, then she's looking to him as he speaks. Her cheeks tinge a little red as he compliments her eye, "That's a sweet thing to say." she smiles to that. Though apparently most men around Gray Harbor liked two eyes. She listens to him talk on strengths and there's a soft nod, "Spiritual is not a bad thing to be skilled in. I have zero ability in it so I envy those that have a way with it." she admits. "I wonder if combined powers might work." she offers. "Or if that is something that would need to be tested a bit over time." she wonders.

"It's odd. I don't know what dictates when our Talent turns on, what age. It's all so random, but that's something else to test. For me?" One shoulder lifts up, one of those faint smiles blossoming to his features, "It makes sense, in some ways, given my line of work. All the dead bodies, and around here? Having to figure out means that killed them that aren't always so easy to figure out." His head dips slowly in agreement, a soft 'mmm' coming from him in consideration, "Combined powers might work. It is worth a try. The material used might make it more successful or less, too."

Minerva listens to him, a thoughtful look on her face, "I'm not sure when they turn on or if we are sometimes born with them. I can say that mind was at a very young age when I started. Three or four." she admits. "Ghosts in this town are so many, so I'm guessing you do see a lot of dead bodies." she chuckles. She then looks to him, "Well, we should see about times to work on testing then. Or others to help out with it if you are wanting to see how it goes with others." she offers.

"Yes. I also want to test blood of those who glimmer versus those who don't, to see if there are any, for lack of a better word, supernatural chemical elements, or markers, that I can identify." So many questions he has, a glimmer of faint amusement creasing his features as his shoulders lift up into a hapless shrug, "But, I equally know it is rather dangerous work, so one thing at a time, yeah? And Isabella has offered to lend her hand in our testing, too. Says you guys have worked together in the past on unusual things. I can find and arrange a time for us all to get together and see what we can manage?"

The mention of testing blood makes Minerva just a little hesitant, but she nods, "Probably a good idea to see if it does show up or if there is anything weird going on with genes." she states. "One thing at a time works, yes. I mean, I'm not going anywhere and I've got plenty of free time to deal with things." she chuckles. Mention of Isabella makes her smile, "Yeah, I trust Isabella. Which reminds me I should text her later." she admits. "So just let me know when you guys want to get together and where we should meet." she smiles.

"Yeah. In the meantime, if there is anything I can do for you, Minerva? Just let me know." A reasuring smile is flashed her way, and his head dips into a gentle nod, as he murmurs, "You know, Isabella said the same thing to me about you. Sure she'd love to hear from you anyway." Yule's lips purse, a soft 'mmph' coming from him, before he asks, "When you do the nullification for your neice's room, is it an... item you put in there? Just the equivalent of a... ritual you do in that space?" It's the last thing that occurs to him, curious to hear that answer.

Minerva gives a bit of a smile, "No, I'm doing alright for the most part, Yule, but thank you." she tells him. "I've been wanting to take the pups over for her to see since she loves dogs and can't have any at the moment. They like seeing her." she chuckles. "I generally do a little Enochian ritual that's mixed with some of the glimmer. Sigils are easy to hide under dressers and that sort of thing." she smiles.

A soft hmm comes from him, "Send me the sigils you use, when you get a chance, yeah?" And then he moves to stand, flashing a warm smile towards the good Doctor, "Then you should. Get out and show her the pups. She'll be going to London in a couple of months, after all." Yule's hands shift, clasping behind him as his head dips into a faint nod of thanks towards her, "You've been wonderful. Thanks for humoring the ideas, and I'll help arrange things and let you know when and where as soon as I can."

Minerva gives a smile to that, "Sure, I can send a photo of them." she tells him. "And yeah, thank you for reminding me." she tells him. Then she's rising as well, "I'm always here to help when it comes to the occult and other weird. So if you need anything just give me a call or text." she tells him. "Have a good afternoon, Yule." she adds.

"Perfect," It's the mention of a photo that has his number given to her to make the bit of communication all the easier, before out his hand comes to clasp her own, if she'll allow, for one last shake. "Yeah? Imagine that makes you quite busy, helping to handle all the weird. Be safe." A warm smile momentarily is cast her way, and then off he goes, slipping out the door and into the light snow outside.
