Irvriya was having to deal with a lot of sudden emotions flaring up. She’d finally agreed to go through with the marriage that was suggested and she was feeling as if she was going to get laughed at when she went to go do the paper work for marriage certificates and making things out for her family.

Elazar was someone she’d met a few times. He didn’t cringe at the sight of her and he didn’t run when talks came up about dating or the possibility of making their parents happy and marrying. Which could have went worse. He could have completely disappeared.

She wasn't sure where to start, she should have asked her brother probably, but she didn't want to tell him just yet. She was still processing and well, part of her was excited. So she'd gotten bundled up, packed her bag into the car and head to city hall. She was walking up to the doors when she caught the image of someone walking behind her. Someone that looked eerily like her dead fiance. It made her heart stop for a moment. The blood in her veins turning icy.

"Abel?" she asked as she'd turned, but there was no one there.

There's just the haunting scent on the wind and the woman closes her eye for a few seconds. "Ma'am, are you alright?" someone asks as she hears footsteps approaching. She opens her good eye and there's a smile, "Yes, just having a moment." she tells the lady that's looking at her concerned.

After that close call there's a moment taken to find the office she needs. She goes up to the window and they tell her that she'll have a small wait. She finds a magazine, flipping the pages to read some of the articles, 'how to keep your pores looking young' and 'how to tell if he's into you'. She was figuring those were meant for someone that wasn't her. It's about ten minutes later when she is called and she wanders up to the counter, "I'm just needing to see about a marriage licence." she tells the lady at the counter.

The lady gives a look up to her in surprise and then there's a look to her left and right, "And where is your husband to be?" she asks her. "You need to bring the groom with you. So both of you can confirm and things." she tells her. The raven haired woman blushes, "Oh, thank you for that. I'll be back with him." she tells her with a chuckle. There were a few murmurs and a snicker or two as she left the office and then she was walking out of city hall.

Once back in the car, she feels the urge to cry coming on, "So stupid..." she whispers to him. "Why would you not just wait for Elazar to get here?" she chides herself. Then she's looking in the rear view mirror to fix her eyeliner when she sees a hauntingly familiar face. The dark haired man has brilliant blue eyes and they seem to be concerned when he looks back at her.

"You're going to be fine, Irvriya." Abel tells her. "You need to move on." he adds. It was horrible to hear a dead man say she needed to move on. It was like some sort of joke. Even the dead guy says to get over your shit and move on!

"It's hard. I know I should. But...I know, Abel. I know." she whispers to him. "I think I'm going to be fine. Everyone else? Not so much." she admits.

When she looks up, he's gone. Which makes her heart feel heavy. She starts the car and then starts to head out of the parking lot. Heading home to deal with plans and the impending arrival of Elazar.
