Text

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Lets say for science, someone volunteered you to go with some people somewhere

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : On the other side of the old sawmill?

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : And you suspected it might be connected to some dreams you had! Ominous dreams! How bad unsmart would opening up a door there- gdi

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Did Anne tell you?

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : For the record, the last person to use an ability in that area, to my knowledge, ended up stuck in a repeating hellscape for a few hours. So I'm coming with you and the others, if that's all right. I'd like to bring a doctor, as well, if he's willing.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Let's just assume I have people who tell me things.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Wtf

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I think Patrick is trying to kill me.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : I think if Patrick was trying to kill you, he'd offer you a drink and then smile and sit down next to you while you died. He's probably just trying to keep the others alive.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : It'd be nice if he told me things like REPEATING HELLSCAPE before being like 'Yeah, I'm sure that one thing was totally a coincidence, you should go knock on some doors with them'. I'm gonna knock a door right into the sand pit from the Beetlejuice movie.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : which I guess is what I think a hellscape looks like

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : I guess that could be one version. Seems reasonable.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Whatever. Patrick sucks. Yeah, it's fine if you come. Where are you getting a doctor from?

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Yule Duchannes, if he'll come. Medical Examiner. He does most of his work on dead people, but he probably hasn't forgotten everything about bedside manner.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Does he know how to make people not die?

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Theoretically.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Alright, I guess.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : What do you folk hope to find over there?

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Me? This isn't even my idea. Katy and Kyle want to go poke around up there. I don't know, it's a whole thing.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I have a whole fistful of misgivings.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Well, I was planning to try and check it out anyway, so this works. Are Katy and Kyle careful people?

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I've never been with them on something like this. 😕

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : So your incredibly mysterious source

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Yes?

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : (seemingly endless amount of typing, not typing, typing)

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Did you hear that my grandfather is 'gone'?

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : No. What do you mean 'gone'? The newspaper would have reported if he was dead, and he wasn't in any condition to run away.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I mean he's gone. He's not around. He's missing. He absconded or something absconded him.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : He went 'gone' around the time I had that dream.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : And I went with my sister to talk to Margaret, who looks as close to upset and sad as I've ever seen her.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Who told us he's gone. Then said a bunch of crap that I'll be honest I didn't quite follow.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : But was probably important, I'm sure.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : None of that is good.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : No, none of that is good.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : And your trip that went bad? I guess? Happened after the dream/he went 'gone'. And so did mine with August.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I had a really easy time crossing over. But it doesn't sound like Anne did. I mentioned it might just be a coincidence to Patrick, that's when he suggested I go with them to knock on doors.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Yeah. I think we were hijacked, though. Anne thinks she accidentally opened a door into a Dream, not the Veil. I don't know why it happened, but I don't even know if it was meant for us.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Hm. Maybe, Anne isn't really someone that makes accidents but I guess you can never be 100% with any of this.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I guess K&K are hoping to find some answers about Thomas. But I dunno. Margaret thought he did something.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : 'Something'?

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Yeah. Something. Also that he probably fucked up whatever the something was.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : ...

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I probably shouldn't have told you any of that but you're doing us a solid but coming and possibly bringing a doctor of the undead with you.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : But I feel like we're in for one hell of a shit show.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : You ever wonder what kind of man Thomas might have been if he'd not had her as a sister?

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Sometimes. I wonder what a lot of us would be like if things were different.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : If wishes were fishes we'd walk on the sea, I guess.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : I appreciate it, though. You telling me.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Yeah. She mentioned something else too, though, probably not 100% related to this upcoming trip.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Anything might be relevant.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : She mentioned having to get rid of bodies. Because- they could take the light with them when they go. They call it call it 'closing doors'. And she talked about how all the light was going to go out and we'd all go into the darkness.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : That makes a lot of sense.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : It does?

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : She kind of like tsked us and then threw shade at my grandfather for not really understanding it all either.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Yeah. I had a dream, too. All of the Baxters that I talked to did.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Huh.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Were they horrible?

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Our bones were being crushed, and broken, and everything we were was being annihilated. And I could hear a metallic whine. Like a sawblade.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : So, yes. On an Alexander Clayton Nightmare Scale, I'd give them probably a 7.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Ugh.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : That's probably what the dream me and Hyacinth had was about.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Did you remember any more details?

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : We had the same hive mind dream as the rest of the Addingtons. But our joint one came after. I assume it's related to feeding bodies into saws.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : You think my grandfather hasn't any NOT terrible memories he could impart to me?

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : There was a hive mind Addington dream? And I imagine he has a few. He seems to have lived a rather sad life, though.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Yeah, it was your dream. But the other side of it. I guess makes historical sense. 😕

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Yeah. It's okay. As long as history doesn't repeat itself. For the record, I do NOT volunteer as tribute.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I'm not going to feed you into a saw mill. You keep taking care of me in the hospital!

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I have some loyalty.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Much appreciated.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : Do we think New Baxter + New Addingtons + Saw Mill = Fucking disaster waiting to happen?

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : Probably. Still curious, though.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : You're a trip, man.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : I don't know if you mean that in a good way or a bad one.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : It's a good way.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : I like interesting people.

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : I'm glad. I like you too, oddly enough.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : This is where we hug it out. You'll have to settle for this incredibly creepy hugging emoji instead.

(TXT to Alexander) Enzo : :creepy hugging emoji why is it so creepy ugh:

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : (...)

(TXT to Enzo) Alexander : That looks like...well. Maybe best not to say. I'll take it based on intent, and be grateful for the lack of actual hugging.
