It's evening at the Pourhouse, but it's not too terribly crowded yet. There's a smattering of regulars hanging out. There's some kind of older rock music playing. Dahlia has secured a seat near the end of the bar. She was holding a small stack of papers, mouth moving as she silently read the words aloud. There's a basket of fries covered with cheese and bacon and a partially finished long necked beer bottle situated near her. Her hair is left down, falling around her shoulders and she's in a pair of ripped jeans with a blue tank top and a black windbreaker over it.

It's probably good it isn't too crowded at this time. Alisha comes into to one of her favorite haunts. Dressed much as she usually does, in a short black dress that goes to down to her mid-thighs. Calf high boots and make up done up in mostly pale and black. She makes a beeline to the bar. Ordering a two shots of vodka before deciding to look around. She saw Dahlia at Bennie's party and maybe around town before. She gives her a nod in greeting. After said shots arrive she decides to speak up "Reading lines?" maybe she did overhear some of the conversation that night. Or has some other experience in film.

Dahlia looks up from her papers when she's addressed. She's vaguely certain she's seen the blonde around before and maybe at Bennie's birthday party. Hanging out with...Lyric. Maybe. She offers up an easy smile nonetheless. "Yeah, I'm due for filming a couple scenes in a few days and I like to be over prepared." She laughed. "Figured it'd be more entertaining to read them out than hiding in my house." She ate a fry and motioned from Alisha, to them as if to offer her to help herself. Swallowing, "Name's Dahlia by the way. You were at Bennie's party yeah? I'm digging the outfit."

Alisha was hanging out with Lyric and Ico at the party. Still both were very busy. "Nothing wrong with being over prepared. Way better than being under." giving her a smirk. Before downing her first shot with a shiver. "Yeah practicing is public is a little bit better. Gets you used to having a camera on you in a way...I mean not that I would know." she chuckles. She holds up a hand and though looking thankful waves away the offer. No need to waste precious booze space on food. "Alisha." she offers her name "Yeah I was at Bennie's party. Damn that was a good party wasn't it? And thanks, you have a rather nice one yourself. It isn't just anyone that can rock a windbreaker after all."

"Eh, I'm more or less used to the camera. Though it's been a while." Dahlia shrugged. "But you're right, it helps to have people around." Eyeing her a beat longer as if trying to see if she recognizes her from any potential film. But finally relents, deciding she has not and eats another fry. "Nice to officially meetcha." She flashed a grin. "Thanks - trying to stay kinda incognito in case any of those stupid photographers are still lingering around." Couldn't a girl just get her fame without the paparazzi? At least it wasn't as bad as dinner with Justin's mom in Seattle. "Anywho, yes Bennie's party was great." Her grin remained. "It was fun to let loose a bit. I don't know her too well honestly but she's good people."

"Oh really? From the party you certainly seemed like a movie star." offering up a wink. "Regardless if it's been awhile or not." and the only film Alisha has been in is a half-finished student film. Seen by only a few and really awful. Not something she advertises. "Good to meet you as well. Well if any of photographers are around and going to give you trouble just let me know. I'm happy to escort them out." said with a smile. "Say the movie you doing now, you think it needs some more security. Not that I requested the assignment at the precinct or anything." tilting her head to the actress "So much fun to let loose. I can't say I know her very well either. Just work in the same building. I agree with you she seems like good people. So hey do you want another drink on me?"

Dani isn't in uniform, but the patrol officer has lived in the trailer park all her life so she may be familiar to some. Living in trailer #37, her patrol car parked outside it for the last 10 or 12 years. It's directly to the bar she approaches and slides down onto one of the bar stools, "Hit me up." She has a usual, apparently, and shortly a tequila on the rocks finds its way to the bartop in front of her. Turning, she looks at the others, perhaps hearing a tad bit of the conversation and she offers a grin. Alisha is definitely familiar.

Dahlia was born and raised in the trailer park herself, though she ran off to LA at 18 and only returned about a year ago. Dahlia laughs at Alisha's comment. "Well, thanks." She's been an extra mostly in some films. Had a couple leading roles on movies that didn't take off. People wouldn't really be familiar with her unless she happened to see her more adult works. "I'll definitely let ya know if I start getting harassed." She took a long sip off her bottle. "Well, after that whole wall explosion thing that happened the other day I'm sure they wouldn't mind some. " She tears off a piece of blank space from her copied script papers and scrawls a number. "If you're interested, I'm sure they can let you know if they'd like an extra hand or two." She looks up when another person arrives. She vaguely recognizes her from maybe seeing her once or twice since being back when she was staying in her old family trailer. No idea who she was though. "Evenin'" Flashing a friendly smile towards her as well nonetheless.

Alisha does recognize the senior officer, as she sits on the stool. Offering a nod of greetings and approval to starting off strong. Raising her shot of clear liquid up "Good choice. And good evening to you. Glad to see you aren't working the late shift." a twinge of smile on her lips as she speaks to Dani.

Turning back to Dahlia. Ali has more than likely seen more of her adult work, not that she is about to say so though. "Wall explosion? What happened with that? Sounds like it just wasn't a FX malfunction." taking the offered piece of paper "I'll be sure to call. If I can lean a hand I'm happy to. Of course getting paid from two sources isn't bad either. The incident aside what is the project about?"

"Good evening," Dani responds back to the somewhat familiar Dahlia. Her glass is lifted and she tilts it towards Alisha in a silent toast that doesn't remain silent for too long. "Good evening to you too. I'm so damn glad I'm not working the late shift. I already put in time at the range today with Officer Carlson (Rick). "Glad you're not working it either. The freaks come out at night or something." The smile turns crooked and she looks down into the tequila before taking a sip from it.

Downing shot two of the night. Alisha sets the empty glass back down on the bar. Two fingers motioning for yet another. "Damn Carlson. Poor guy, I can't even begin to think of what he's had to go through. Good you got him down the range. I still need to have some drinks with him." before she laughs loudly at the freaks coming out. The goth would certainly qualify as one of them "Yeah I hate to have to arrest my own kind. Really puts a damper on my rep in both places. I just hate missing out on nighttime fun, you know?" being a little buzzed, but not close to drunk yet. She didn't start drinking early tonight it seems.

"Hey, I'm here. I included myself in that. Nothing better to do on a night off than come drinking." As if to punctuate the point, she takes another drink from the glass, not quite draining it yet. "Lifestyles of the blue team, yeah?" A nod to Alisha's glass also. Dani isn't even buzzed yet!

Alisha opens up her palms. Trying to show she was joking "I wasn't being serious. I can't agree more than drinking when out of uniform. Shame the karaoke machine isn't up, after a few more I could do with some singing. Oh hey you coming tomorrow night?" her gaze does go the glass of her fellow cop. "Of course maybe you need some catching up. But yeah our wonderful lifestyles. Serve and protect. Then needing a few after the day is done." without name tags she's not so great at remembering names and before recently hasn't mixed professional and personal life. "So Goodman. How are you doing tonight?"

Dani hadn't taken her really serious, not about the joke. Her easy smile is an indicator of that and she places the glass down on the bar for a refill after finishing it off. "I don't sing, I don't even try. I leave that to the songbirds of the town. I know where my strengths are." The glass is taken away, a new one replaces it. Dani collects it. "I'm doing better with each one of these I'm downing." THe smile returns. "What about you, Williams?"

Next glass delivered before Alisha. A soft smile of her own while she plays with the new shot. Not downing it immediately. "No one says that a Karaoke night has anything to do with talent. Word is that even our captain sometimes comes. I respect the man, but I just can't see him having a good singing voice. It's all about having fun. No matter where one's strength's lay." giving Dani another once over followed by a deep sigh, seemingly for no real reason. "Well here's to you getting better and better then." finally lifting her vodka to drink some of it. "Me? Alright doing better. It's been a long week already, not too tough just long. You know how things can get around the department. Plus figuring out things...sometimes this shit isn't so easy right?"

"Captain de la Vega comes?" Dani smirks at the thought of that, but honestly, she knew little of the man outside of work. Her brows pucker briefly, "I don't know, that gravely voice may sound good singing. Bass or something." Taking up her glass she takes a drink of the new one. Checking the time on her watch on her wrist, she grumbles. "Feels like it should be midnight about now. I am getting old. Ready to crash out so early."

Alisha nods her head "So the rumor goes at least. Haven't been around to see if he does or not." she chuckles at the thought of the rough voice "Could be. Some songs at least. I wonder if such tales are true what does he really sing?" the thought amuses her for a bit. "Hmm?" is it getting late, Ali hasn't noticed. "Aww and here I was ready to buy your next round. Still at times we all need some rest so I wouldn't take it as a sign of getting old. See you around then?" she offers and will settle in with own drink if Dani is leaving.

Dani does finish off her drink. Two was pretty much her limit. Most of the time. "Maybe I'll drop in and watch it sometime. Tonight though, home sounds good." Sliding her glass back on the bar, she settles up the tab then gets to her feet. "Some other time. Or come to breakfast with Rick and I at some point. He owes me after I outshot him today at the range." Offering a little salute and a grin, she nods to Alisha. "Definitely see you around. Take it easy."
