(TXT to Cristobal) Seth : Hey. It's Seth Monaghan. We need to talk if I am not pulling you away from pre-nuptial celebrations or anything. Congrats by the way.

(TXT to Seth) Cristobal : Hey, thanks man. And nah, I can skate over for a tick. Where you wanna meet?

(TXT to Cristobal) Seth : My place? 26 Elm, couple doors down from Kelly. That work? If not, name alternatives. I'm open.

(TXT to Seth) Cristobal : Nah, I'm easy like an easy thing. Headed that way, gimme 15.

(TXT to Cristobal) Seth : See you when you get here. I'll have beer.

And roughly 15 minutes later, a small but ridiculously suped up Yaris parks across the street from Seth's house and down a few houses, Cris stepping out casually and having a glance around before he shoves his fingerless gloved hands into the pocket of his leather jacket and trudges the short distance to number 26. There is a knock on the door and the latino steps back so he's easily seen and identified from peephole or window.

Seems Seth was waiting for Cris to show because before the Latino's knuckles even touch paint, the door is opening, and Seth is standing there with an unopened beer which is promptly thrust forward towards Cris, "Hey there. Come on in."

That being said, Seth moves out of the way to let Cristobal through, looking past the Latino to the street to double-check the coast. It's clear as far as he can tell.

Cris looks down at the beer with a half-formed smirk. "I gotta love the service around here. Now if you have a feisty brunette you can sit in my lap while we talk, you're my new best friend." He pushes through into the house, cracking open the beer but leaving his coat in place for now. "Hey man, nice fucking place." He comments as he slurps a bit of foam and examines a movie poster.

"Sorry, all out of brunettes. I had a blonde here earlier, but she had to go to work." chuckles Seth as he closes the door behind Cris and makes his way down the hall to the comforts of the living room. Seth glances around his place and nods, "Hey, Thanks. As I told Ravn, when you are single and have a disposable income, you can afford to splurge a bit on some shit. So, I splurged. I've pretty much gotten it to where I like it now. Please, take a seat and make yourself at home."

Seth moves into the living room proper and takes a seat in what seems to be 'his'' chair, the one most focal to the TV, and the one that has an already open beer sitting on a coaster next to it on the side table. "Joey wants us to round up someone for him to have a discussion with. Suggested I bring you and Vic in on it."

"Blonde? Nice. Yeah, my place was tiny, but damned if I didn't slap in a big ol' flat screen and some fancy ass furniture." Cris flops down on the couch, and his version of making himself at home is to unzip his jacket. For a moment there is a glimpse of the side rig for his Walther. Concealed handguns are a no-no in Washington State, but Cris has work arounds for the legality of that, namely being ex-law enforcement and keeping up his certification. "So who are we roping?" Zero qualms.

Seth's eyes dart towards the piece on Cris' side for a second. Concealed weapons may be a no-no in the state, but it isn't like Seth isn't carrying something himself 9 times out of 10, and without the protections of certification to help if he gets caught no less. Just the name of his cousin, and the cops that he has on payroll to make things like that go away. "Guy by the name of Daryl Du Bois. I believe he is part of Reyes' crew. Joey wants to have a nice little 'chat' with him, so we need him able to talk. Other than that we get him however we get him." Seth lifts his bottle from the coaster and to his lips to take a pull from it. "I'm pretty sure that after the talk we will be taking out the trash as well. I'd hit up Itz for a ride we could user, but I am wary of approaching him now with things because of his boyfriend." Seth reaches up and rubs at the stubble on his face, "The same boyfriend that didn't seem to care so much for you getting hitched. Though I don't know if that was for you or Dante. Not that it matters much."

Cris can't hide his grin, even with a scratch at the facial hair that's kept in a neat clip around his mouth. "My buddy Daryl. This has been a long time coming. I'm going to take a little joy in bringing that mother fucker in. Thanks to his boys, I got a few new decorations on my skin of the scar variety. It shouldn't be a problem. Vic and I work well together, and with the three of us?" He makes a tsch noise. "Yeah, Rosencrantz is out now that his Papi has switched sides to Reyes. The engagement noise has nothing to do with business, I assure you."

"Ah, so you know this guy. You got one up on me then, but I am happy to help you get some personal satisfaction out of things." Seth says with a nod, "Joey just said he wants him to be able to talk, so just stay away from the jaw, the rest, well, have at. I'm not anticipating any trouble, but whatever intel you do have on the guy would be useful."

The news about de la Vega working for Reyes does seem to startle Seth a bit. "I hadn't heard that. All Joey told me was that de la Vega, and cops in general, were off-limits. You sure de la Vega is working for Reyes now? I mean, that explains a few things. I just thought the man grew a continence. Fuck. That could complicate things if he found out about our little party. Shame. Itz was a good car man. Still might use him for legit mechanic work if I can."

Seth takes a deep breath and sips at his beer, "I didn't think the scene on New Years was business. Seemed was too personal to be business. I just assumed one of the two of you was an old fling or something he still had feelings for. Not my business and I wasn't going to push."

Cris waves off the talk about pushing into personal business with a wave of his beer, "Ah you know. The problem with dicks. Too many of em and they just start getting in the way." He takes a swig and gets back to the nuts and bolts of things. "Reyes used de la Vega's daughter as a bargaining chip, so he bounced instead of coming to us for help. No doubt he has some Master Plan up his sleeve that Joey possibly knows, but until I hear otherwise from Joey, he's persona non grata. Now Daryl, Clayton and I busted up him trying to bring a half dozen AK's into Gray Harbor. I got the dude's phone number. Possible we could ping the location."

Seth lets out a little 'ah' sound as Cristobal explains the thing with de la Vega, "Ok. that makes sense. Less of a turn to work for Reyes willingly, more of a leverage thing. Got it. Yeah, every time I see that cop I think he is just going to plug me one...just because I share Felix's last name. But, whatever. Joey says untouchable, so untouched he remains till I hear otherwise. Joey still probably thinks there is the hope of bringing him back into the fold." Seth shrugs his shoulder as he takes another sip, "I guess only time will tell."

The enforcer is quiet for a moment as he thinks, tapping the tip of his beer bottle against his chin. "Now that sounds like a plan. Get a trace on that bad boy and track him, see if there is a good place to snatch and grab."

"Being shot by Vega is a daily possibility by half this town, I wouldn't take it too personally. But yeah, having that last name is an automatic target, just like being an Addington or..whatever that other family name is that Tor is related to. Baxter? Sum'in like that." Cris runs his thumb along the edge of his nose. "First we're going to have to find someone who can tap into the wireless network to get a bead on the signal, track his movements. That's outside my wheelhouse. Alternatively, we could use the number to set a trap, but I'd rather the first if we're able. Rouse less suspicion and keep the upper hand."

Seth nods, leaning back into his chair and thinking for a moment. "I would ask Alexander. I am sure he knows or knows someone who knows, but...that would just be a bad idea all around. He would not go for it if he knew what it would be used for, and I don't feel right making him an accessory to something like this. I'll contact Joey and see if he has anyone. If not, we may just have to do this the old fashion way. I'll also ask Vic when she comes by for dinner, maybe she has a connection she can use. Ghosting until we make the grab is the best option. Less chance of something getting turned on us."

Cris makes a face, squinting up one eye, "Yeeeah, Alexander is in this nebulous grey area. While he's not above skirting the law, knowing what's likely to come of us getting our hands on Daryl, it's better he be left out." And then something dawns on the swarthy bloke, "Wait. Vic's coming over for dinner? Is this the same blonde that left earlier? Sheeeeyit." He borrows from Tor's vocabulary, "Muy caliente, hermanos." He flicks his fingers as if he just touched something hot. "Careful of the scorch marks. Do me a favor and motorboat those maracas once for me, yeah?"

Seth nods in agreement to the comments about Alexander, "Exactly. He and I have become, as weird as it is for me to say, friends. But I am certainly not going to pull him into something like this. I have an idea of what lines he will not cross, and this is one of them. If he knew what it was for, it probably wouldn't end well."

And then there is Cristobal's reaction to figuring out Vic is Seth's blonde friend, which causes Seth to snort a bit of a chuckle. "I pled the fifth, but I will make sure to keep some aloe on hand."

Cris just shakes his head with that shit eating grin plastered to his face. "That might be why Vega has it gunning for you." His chin hitches up, "Welcome to the club, man." Which club exactly that is, he leaves to the ether as he drains the last of the beer, and like the asshole he is, leaves the empty on the table. "Well, you have my number. Let me know what Joey says, yeah?"

"Nah, I was getting the vibes from Vega before anything with Vic. I knew they had a history...didn't know it was that kind but I don't care," Seth explains, finishing off his beer and standing as he leaves the comments about whatever club alone, offering his hand over to the Latino bouncer. "I will. I don't expect this to take to long to get set up, so I'll be in contact. Again, congratulations."

"I don't either the nature either, but I'm a betting man." Cris takes the handshake with his right and claps Seth on the shoulder with the left. "Thanks man, I got an invitation to the reception with your name on it. Take it easy, and if it's easy? Take it." With that he's zipping back up his jacket and heading out back to the cold.
