Ifra

• Cultural Muslim - Ifra has a very loose relationship with her faith. She'll offer her daily prayers, won't eat pork or drink alcohol, and generally does her best to observe Ramadan, but her knowledge of the Qu'ran is limited at best and operational needs will always trump religious ones. Still, sometimes she does seem to have Allah on her side, and mysterious good luck which she can only attribute to divine guidance.
• Lifeboat Volunteer - Having spent her career flying helicopters for the Coast Guard, Ifra has joined the volunteer crew of the local lifeboat.
• Anti-racism Crusader - Being stopped for 'random security checks' every time you get on a domestic flight is enough to give anyone a chip on their shoulder, and Ifra is vocal enough to call it out every time she sees it. Or thinks she sees it. Or thinks there's the possibility in future. Or somebody just looks at her funny.
• Environmentalist - The odd weather conditions sometimes found in this area of the Pacific Northwest? Climate change. Somebody should really step up and take the government to account.

With the sort of clear brown skin that remains flawless for years, Ifra's age is uncertain but might be estimated as somewhere in her thirties? Glossy black hair, usually pulled back from her face and kept up out of the way, and wide, deep brown eyes set by a long nose give no further clue. She's not particularly tall or heavily built, but something about the confidence exudes the impression that she might be stronger than her frame implies, and when she wears a sleeveless top it's clear that she's no stranger to exercise and fitness.
